Blossoming Love With A Score of 700 - Chapter 4
Tao Zhi turned her head and stole a glance— her fellow comrade was still making up for his incomplete homework.
With his head lowered, his face was also blocked by the display monitor, only revealing his short black hair and a hand holding a pen.
A rather pretty hand with very long fingers and thin bones on the back.
She had a thing for beautiful hands, and her impression of this person suddenly improved by a few points.
Tao Zhi took two steps forward. She pressed herself against the edge of the table, leaned over through the monitor and whispered to him, “Good brother.”
The boy’s writing actions did not stop, nor did he respond.
Quite focused on completing his homework.
Tao Zhi pressed her elbows on the table and leaned forward, her head protruding halfway from the computer display and revealing her eyes only, “You haven’t done your homework either?”
The boy’s tip of his pen stopped as he looked up.
Tao Zhi could now see his face clearly. She blinked, before whistling subconsciously.
The crisp whistle was especially clear and loud as it resounded throughout the empty office.
His eyes were more beautiful than his hands. His eye sockets were deep, the corners narrow and the contouring astringent. The color of his eyes were a little lighter under the sun, a penetratingly cold gaze that was almost inhumane.
Like Princess Liuli(3).
(T/L note: *this may be wrong* but it probably serves as a reference to Liuli from a certain Chinese novel. I didn’t read that but it probably either refers to an ethereal beauty or a cold-gazed person)
Princess Liuli looked indifferent and did not speak.
Tao Zhi came back to her senses without the slightest embarrassment and remembered what was going on.
He didn’t say anything, so Tao Zhi just pretended that he acquiesced to the fact and she asked directly, “I didn’t finish it either. How many subjects are you still missing? I have done half of the Physics paper and I can let you copy it later. I’m still short of English and Chemical Biology though.”
Princess Liuli raised his eyebrows and knocked the tip of his pen lightly on the table, and her beautiful peach blossom eyes(4) were slightly raised, “Can I borrow them to copy later?”
(T/L note: It’s an eye shape: peach blossom eyes. Very specific features like the tail of the eye slightly curved upwards, upper eyelid has a large curvature etc )
Towards the end of his words, his voice rose slightly, and his tone was like a thin line of ice cutting through the sunlight of dawn in the early autumn season.
Tao Zhi wanted to whistle again.
She felt that this young man was a match with every point of her aesthetic.
Sure enough, he didn’t do his homework!
Tao Zhi felt the happiness of finding a comrade who fought on the same battlefield, “Yes.”
Tao Zhi lifted her head and rested her chin on the computer monitor, “Mathematics and Chemical Biology— let’s check one subject respectively and then we can exchange them so that both of us get to copy. Is that a deal?”
Princess Liuli, “Okay.”
Tao Zhi was in a glee, “Then I will do Chemistry.”
“Then I’ll handle Biology.”
He put down the pen and leaned back on the chair, watching the little girl show half of her head like a groundhog, pointing her fingers to guide him, “Make your movements a little quicker. That way, we can probably finish Maths and Sciences before lunch break.”
The groundhog was talking, yet her eyes hung down to see what she had written. With just a vague glance, the office door was pushed open with a ‘creak’.
