Hi, everyone. We have recently started a new novel called Reincarnated into a Game as the Hero’s Friend. If you like novels with the detailed wars, strategies, clever style of combining geek-level history, and combat psychology, then you will love this novel. You can read this novel HERE.

Song Jiang took large strides down the stairs, “I heard that you were called to the office by your homeroom teacher for self-study early this morning?”

Tao Zhi, “..Don’t mention things that don’t require mentioning.”

“I’m just congratulating you on your good start,” Song Jiang said happily, “How does it feel to be called to the office on the first day of the new semester? That Mr Wang of your class is really fierce— I’m afraid the rest of your days wouldn’t be as great as they were before.”

Tao Zhi was still sluggish, so she was too lazy to pay attention to him. The two of them left the school building and walked out of the school gates before they were seated in a noodle restaurant that was right next to their school.

The store was not big and it was already full. They walked to the innermost table, where there were three people waiting. One of them was a girl who waved happily at her, “Zhi Zhi!”

(T/N: It’s normal to use a person’s literal last name and say twice as a nickname. Example: Tao Zhi-> Zhi Zhi)

The noodles were already served as Tao Zhi sat down beside her. She took the chopsticks, raising her hand to grab the bottle of vinegar next to her and started to pour into the noodle bowl.

After pouring, she started to sprinkle some spicy pepper from its jar.

“Sour and spicy,” Song Jiang couldn’t hold back his tongue beside him, “What a pairing.”

Tao Zhi put down the pepper jar and slapped him on the head.

Song Jiang clutched his head and let out an ‘ouch’, “I’m just joking. Why is your temper a little bit bad today?”

“I met a nasty guy,” Tao Zhi looked upset, muttering while picking on some green onions. After a pause, she looked up again,”Jiang Qihuai, have you heard of him?”

“No,” Song Jiang said, biting the inside of his mouth, “Where’s he from?”

Tao Zhi looked at him speechlessly, “The Affiliated High School’s elite student.”

“…How would I know anything about the Affiliated High School’s elite?” Song Jiang looked even more speechless, “Why would I know any of Affiliated High School’s elites when I myself obtained about 300 points per exam? If you had asked me about the Affiliated High School’s Tyrant, I could help you inquire about it. “

Tao Zhi bulged her cheeks and looked at him for five seconds.

Song Jiang felt a bit of goosebumps form when she stared at him, “What? Who was it? Which blind idiot decided to infuriate our Experimental High’s ancestor, this young one will help you deal with him right away.”

“Shut up,” Tao Zhi sighed, lowering her head and continuing to eat her noodles, “Forget it, it’s nothing.”

After dinner, Song Jiang and the others have to go to the supermarket in front. Tao Zhi bid her goodbyes and went back to school first.

Class One was on the third floor and she wandered back to the classroom slowly before she ran into her petite classmate at the door of the class.

Fu Xiling stood by the wall with her back leaning against it. Her head was hung down low, and a boy wearing a high school uniform talked as he stood next to her.

Being some distance away, Tao Zhi didn’t hear what they were talking about. The boy leaned over with a smile, and the petite girl shrank back as she was shocked, shaking her head over and over again.

Obviously, whatever it was, she was reluctant.

The boy raised his hand to pull her again.

Hey hey, why are you raising your hands against a little girl?

Tao Zhi squeezed her earlobe and walked over, separating his hand quietly from hers and looked sideways at Fu Xiling, “I want to go back, are you going in? I’m too lazy to make some space for you later.”

Fu Xiling nodded quickly and hurried back to the classroom with her head down.
