Blossoming Love With A Score of 700 - Chapter 9
Tao Zhi treated the guy standing in the corridor like air as she followed Fu Xiling into the classroom, slamming the door behind her.
There were not many people in the classroom, and the pesky person from the morning’s self-study session had returned. He was seated in his seat working on some test papers.
Fu Xiling returned to her seat with her book spreaded out. Her head was hanging down and her bobbed hair slid down, blocking her side profile.
Tao Zhi was not a nosy person, let alone being a busybody towards a stranger who she had just met on the first day.
The sunlight beamed in fully through the light blue curtains in the noon of early autumn. Besides, people start to feel lazy when they are full. She leaned back onto the chair and turned around. She took out the phone from the drawer of the desk, lowering her head and played lazily.
The classroom was quiet, only the slight sound of the ‘Princess’ behind her turning the pages.
Listening to that sound, Tao Zhi suddenly stopped using her phone.
She put the phone back into the drawer of her desk again. She raised her foot and stepped on the table’s sides with a slight force. The front legs of her chair were lifted off the ground and only the back two legs remained.
The back of her chair hit the desk behind her with a soft noise.
Tao Zhi could even hear the rustling of Princess Liuli’s writing behind her.
She curled her lips a little sinisterly and began to shake her chair, as if she was sitting in a rocking chair.
Every time it rocked, it made a slight impact. After shaking like this for a while, she could hear that the person behind her finally couldn’t bear it any longer. With a click, he dropped his pen on the table.
Tao Zhi counted for two seconds in her heart–
“Do you need something?”
Jiang Qihuai’s voice was a little low and his tone was cold, like rain falling straight down on a cold night.
Tao Zhi felt that she hadn’t been this happy in a long time.
She felt that it was not really a big deal. In the beginning, she was the one who made a mistake as he wasn’t there to finish his homework. As long as he had simply said “I’m not doing homework” at the time, the matter would have ended when they were in the office.
But this person just followed her lead.
He even dared say that he was responsible for finishing Biology.
All this just to tease her?
Wasn’t this a bit too much?
She was the kind of character that feels uncomfortable if she doesn’t say anything about what’s troubling her. She had long been used to it, and on a daily basis, she already acted as if she was the law. The people around her had gotten used to that as well and she hasn’t experienced this kind of frustration for a long time.
So it doesn’t matter even if she thinks about it. Tao Zhi lifted her chair and moved forward before she turned around and stretched out her long legs, leaning over.
She put her arms on his desk, leaning forward to approach him as she asked, “What do you think?”
The girl stared at him. Her pupils were dark, the ends of her eyes were elongated when she squinted whereas her nose was tall and her lips were plump. Her facial features were slightly aggressive but beautiful.
As if it was a game, neither of them looked away.
After staring at each other for a few seconds, Jiang Qihuai suddenly said, “I’m sorry.”
Tao Zhi was stunned by this unexpected situation, “Huh?”
Jiang Qihuai stretched his legs forward, leaned back and stretched once more as he nonchalantly said,”The self-study thing this morning, it was me.”
Tao Zhi, “…?”
Tao Zhi never expected that Jiang Qihuai would use this method. He thought that if he apologized fast enough, he would win against her.
Suddenly she was immersed in the dazedness of an unknown situation. The suffocation of anger of having nowhere to vent made her completely speechless for a certain amount of time.
Tao Zhi looked at him in shock.
Jiang Qihuai said without emotion, “It was my fault, I’m sorry.”
Tao Zhi, “…”
Have a nice day.
