She followed the rest of the crowd out of the classroom. Even the cold wind at the end of September could barely cool her down.
In a trance, she sat outside the basketball court with Gu Jue’s sweater in her arms, and sent a message to the B̲i̲t̲c̲h̲ Squad.
Ruan-An-Ruan: [D̲a̲m̲n̲ it, it turns out that Perky Butt doesn’t just have a perky butt, but also a d̲a̲m̲n̲ snitched waist!!!]
They did not finish the match.
Gu Jue knew from the beginning that the opposing team did not plan to finish the entire match, because there was no need to consume so much energy in a practice match. They probably just wanted to test out this new addition of the team, so it was not surprising to call off the match at half time.
He just passed the ball to the Sports Committee member when a male voice called out to him from behind.
“Hi –” He was patted on the shoulder, and Gu Jue turned back to face a guy with a big smile on his face, “Man, you’re d̲a̲m̲n̲ good at basketball!”
Gu Jue recognized that he was the star player of the opposing team, named Liu something.
They were quite good. Their main tactic was to support Liu, and they all had high tacit understanding, but these were not enough to go against the teams in American College Basketball League.
However, to have attained such high standards in a prestigious university, and furthermore not being in the Department of Physical Education, it was already quite impressive to have such skills and physical aptitude.
Gu Jue looked at him and replied truthfully, “You’re not bad, too.”
“…” His compliment sounded very far-fetched for some reason.
“Brother, I came to ask something…” The man paused and pointed his finger outside the court. His tone was suddenly embarrassed, “The girl standing over there… Is she your girlfriend?”
At this point in time today, there were not many people around, so no one knew about the private practice matches. Gu Jue halted, knowing who the man was referring to without the need to look in the direction he was pointing.
The only reason why a man would ask something like that was because he had taken a fancy.
He thought for a while, after all, it was inappropriate to use a heavy tone at their first meeting, and he opted to use an indirect approach to persuade him to leave, “Not yet, but…”
Before he could finish, he was interrupted by the man with a grin, “No? Oh, that’s great, I was still thinking that I wouldn’t even have a chance if she’s your girlfriend!”
The man seemed to be quite insensitive to the words and expressions of others, and continued to jabber excitedly, “Then help me, I just wrote down my contact information, can you pass it to her for me? I’m afraid that she might not take it if I gave it to her directly…” The boy then patted Gu Jue’s shoulder fondly, “Thank you, brother!” Then he turned around and walked away, wiping his sweat.
“…” Gu Jue stood there, his mood instantly dropped to the bottom of the valley.
Any feelings of favor he had for this person instantly vanished.
Still standing, he looked at the thin paper in his hand for a while: “…”
Who the f̲u̲c̲k̲ is your brother.
Ruan An’an was too busy indulging in Gu Jue earlier that she had forgotten her school bag. The two of them split up with the other team members and went back to the classroom while Ruan An’an went to the washroom again.
Gu Jue’s mind was filled with thoughts of that piece of paper.
He took it out of his pocket and unfolded it –
[Hello classmate, I’m Liu Ke from Class 3 of International Trade. My phone number is…]
The more he looked, the more enraged he got.
