As he said that, the boss pointed toward a pile of stones of different sizes, “These came from the old pits. Do you know what the old pits are? They are the place where there’s the most jade. It’s more expensive but it’s easier to yield jade.”
“Last month, I’ve a customer here who came to buy a seventy thousands yuan stone but the stone produced jade worth millions in the end!”
He happily said as if he was the one who made the money.
This was an inherent trick from all merchants.
They would usually talk about the one who made a fortune but never tell you all the others who lost their money.
People always wanted to be the lucky one and would ignore the one who lost.

The fourth was the size of a grenadier and was greyish black.
“High quality jadeite from Nanqi, 74% of yielding jade.”
The fifth piece resembled the second one in the fact it felt like a cone and it weighed around 5kg but there was a crack on it that revealed the emerald green inside.
“A high quality Jadeite from Mameng, 81% of yielding jade.”
Chen Huan just looked at five stones and then stopped.
The boss felt amused at his pretentious bearings.
He had seen plenty of people that pretended they were knowledgeable. Those rookies would usually pretend to be experts like that before saying some useless stuff.
They would start to feel confident after some praise and quickly buy those overpriced stones.
“Handsome, which stone do you fancy?” The boss asked with enthusiasm.
“What’s the price for this one?” Chen Huan pointed toward the second piece.
“Oh, this is from the old Daika pits, it isn’t cheap and the market price for it is 50k.” The boss said after some thought.
“What about this one?” Chen Huan pointed toward the fourth piece.
“This is from Damukai and I bought it for 120k yuan a year ago, I can sell it to you for 150k!” The boss said with false generosity, “There are other costs for it so I’ll just earn a few thousands from you!”
“And this?” Chen Huan pointed to the fifth piece.
“This one is incredible, it comes from Hpakant’s old pits.” The boss happily said, “Have you heard of Hpakant? There are fewer and fewer stones from Hpakant and it’s more and more expensive. Not to mention the opening shows the highest quality of jade! This is considered a half bet and I can give it to you for 500k!”
Chen Huan laughed and pointed at the five stones one by one, “Mameng, Malu, Hpakant, Nanqi, Mamang.”
The boss was shocked, “What did you say?”
“Those are the correct origins for those stones.” Chen Huan looked at him with a smile, “If it wasn’t you remembering wrong then, you got scammed.”
The boss instantly gasped.

There were thousands of stones in his stalls and he couldn’t remember the origins of most of them.
