I'm Not the Young Lady's Dream Girl - [Vol. 2] Chapter 22
[Vol. 2] Chapter 22: Unexpected Surprise
Lily quickly changed her clothes.
It’s early in the morning, how could this happen?
Could it be that Yinyue and the others have been discovered by someone?
But judging from their attire, they don’t seem to be from the association.
So why are they surrounding our villa? Do they want to rob us?
Forget it, there’s no time for speculation now. Lily approached the bed and looked at Bailian, who was still asleep, with her mouth wide open.
“Sun’s out, sleepyhead!” Lily shouted, but there was no response.
Seeing this, Lily reached out her finger and touched Bailian’s forehead.
Bailian struggled to open her eyes, but it seemed she hadn’t fully awakened from her sleep yet. She was still drowsy and showed no intention of getting out of bed.
Seeing Bailian like this, Lily had no choice but to pick her up.
There’s no time to wait for her to wake up now, they must leave quickly.
Lily carried Bailian to the living room in a princess carry.
Xueluo, Yuluo, and Yeming were all there.
It seemed they had also noticed the abnormality outside.
“Where’s Sister Yueyue?” Yuluo’s tone was clearly anxious.
“Sister Yinyue… she’s outside. Judging from the current situation, it doesn’t look good,” Xueluo replied.
“Then I have to go out and help her.” Yuluo was about to leave, but Xueluo stopped her.
“No, sister, it’s too dangerous for you to do this, and Sister Yinyue wouldn’t want to see you act so recklessly,” Xueluo didn’t want to see her sister rush out like this, so she tried to dissuade her.
“I…”
Hearing her sister’s words, Yuluo also calmed down. It was indeed too impulsive for her to go out now. She might not be able to help her Sister Yueyue, and instead, she might even get herself into trouble.
“What should we do now? They could rush in at any moment.”
Although Yuluo had calmed down, she still didn’t have a good way to deal with the current crisis.
“It looks like it’s time to bring out my arsenal,” Lily interjected.
Then she tossed Bailian onto the sofa. At this moment, Bailian was covering her head, seeming to be almost awake, at least not about to fall asleep in the next second.
After speaking, Lily reached into her pocket and began to search. After pulling out a few bank cards, Lily finally took out a golden key.
“An arsenal? You mean you have an arsenal installed in the villa?” Xueluo was somewhat surprised.
It was normal for Lily to have some self-defense weapons, but having an entire arsenal was a bit extreme.
“Yes, it was originally for hobby and collection purposes. I never thought it would come in handy one day,” Lily scratched her head. Even she hadn’t expected that such a day would come.
Under Lily’s lead, everyone arrived in the dim basement. A door made of an unknown material appeared before them—Lily’s hidden arsenal, obviously behind the main door.
Lily inserted the key into the door, and with a loud noise, the door opened.
The girls entered the arsenal, and Lily turned on the lights inside, illuminating the previously dark scene.
The girls looked at the row of weapons and couldn’t help but exclaim.
“These are all made from materials found in dangerous zones,” Xueluo picked up one of the firearms and carefully examined its material.
“That’s right, these are all new-style weapons made from special materials, especially utilizing A-rank psychic crystals,” Lily said proudly, puffing out her chest.
“If Xueluo likes, you can take one to fend off perverts!” Lily joked.
Xueluo heard this and seemed to understand the implied message regarding Xia Qiuxue.
“No thanks, I’m actually not interested in these weapons,” Xueluo was only interested in the ability materials used to make firearms, showing slight interest.
“Really? That’s a pity,” Lily looked disappointed. It seemed she couldn’t change that about Qiuxue.
“But with so many weapons, the few of us won’t be able to use them all anyway.”
Yuluo noticed a blind spot. Although having a large arsenal of weapons was beneficial, even if they were fully armed, they wouldn’t be able to use even a tenth of them.
“This will rely on Miss Yuluo,” Lily seemed to have already thought of this, pointing her finger at Yuluo.
“Me?” Yuluo tilted her head, seemingly realizing something.
“Oh, right! There’s this method,” Xueluo clapped her hands, suddenly understanding.
“Meow~” Yeming seemed to understand something too.
Bailian blinked her eyes. She seemed to be the only one who didn’t understand what was going on, but there was no hope for her to understand. They just hoped she would behave like a mascot and not suddenly go berserk.
“Alright, girls, now is the time for us to fight back,” Lily said, fully armed, raising the gun in her hand to make the declaration.
Outside the villa, Lin Hongzhen looked at the heavily surrounded villa, chuckling softly. Now they were trapped like birds with clipped wings.
He picked up a cup of coffee, savoring it slowly, looking very relaxed.
“Young Master, when shall we charge in?” a man asked.
“Charge in? Heh, there’s no need to waste so much effort. There are ways for the wise,” Lin Hongzhen replied with a smile.
Lin Hongzhen picked up a megaphone and adjusted the volume to the maximum, aiming it at the villa’s main gate.
“Listen up, people inside. You’ve been surrounded by us. Hurry up and surrender.”
Lin Hongzhen shouted through the megaphone. After he finished speaking, the villa’s door slowly opened, and Lin Hongzhen chuckled softly.
“See, I told you there was no need to waste so much effort,” Lin Hongzhen put down the megaphone and said to his subordinates.
“Young Master is truly wise. Just a few words made them surrender obediently. Truly brilliant and martial,” a man added, eager to flatter.
Hearing this, Lin Hongzhen felt even happier. Although he knew it was flattery, he still felt the inner pleasure. Who wouldn’t like a subordinate who knows how to flatter?
“No… This is bad, Young Master,” the man suddenly panicked, as if he had seen a ghost.
“What’s wrong? Stop overreacting.”
Lin Hongzhen turned to look, and what he saw almost dumbfounded him. My goodness, why are there so many people in a single villa?
A group of masked individuals rushed out of the villa, wielding various weapons and launching attacks against the Lin family’s people.
The Lin family’s people were caught off guard and overwhelmed by the fierce firepower. Most of them were knocked down after just a few blows. They had thought it was only a few girls, who could have expected so many people?
What’s going on here? Where did these people come from? Wait, he can’t sense any life energy from them, this must be someone’s ability.
“Quick, counterattack, you bunch of useless trash,” Lin Hongzhen raised his right hand high and commanded his subordinates.
But they were clearly in disarray, with no one paying attention to his orders. Under Yuluo’s organized attacks, all they could think about was how to save their lives.
Watching his subordinates in chaos, Lin Hongzhen clenched his fists.
It seemed they had been living too comfortably in the Lin family, not even knowing how to respond to the enemy in an organized manner. They were truly a bunch of useless idiots. It looked like in the end, he would have to rely on himself.
Lin Hongzhen extended his right hand, and his hand began to change from his fingers to his shoulder. Sensing the flow of power within him, he couldn’t help but feel the irresistible allure of power!
Soon, a strong and powerful black arm appeared, and Lin Hongzhen charged into the crowd, indiscriminately tearing and killing.
Since they were just a bunch of useless trash, their deaths were not worth regretting. Soon, the situation was reversed.
As Lin Hongzhen continuously tore apart the enemies, he realized it was indeed someone’s ability, as they had no flesh or blood and showed no fear of death.
After squeezing the life out of Yuluo’s last creation, Lin Hongzhen stared at his subordinates with eyes burning red from the slaughter. His subordinates were too scared to make a sound.
The Lin Hongzhen from just now was like a wild beast in a fight, or rather, even more terrifying and insane than a wild beast, sparing not even his own people.
“Now, go in and find them for me!” Lin Hongzhen shouted loudly, ordering them to hurry into the house and capture them.
After hearing this, they immediately rolled, tumbled, and crawled into the villa. Now, no one dared to disobey his orders. If he became unhappy, it was possible he would slaughter them. Once inside the villa, they began desperately searching for any trace of Yuluo and her companions.
After an unknown amount of time, a trembling man approached Lin Hongzhen. He looked terrified to face him, but he had no choice but to come and report the news to the second young master.
“Have they been found?” Lin Hongzhen asked him.
“N-not yet,” the man stuttered.
“If they haven’t been found, then why are you here to see me?” Lin Hongzhen asked angrily, glaring at his subordinate.
“N-no, I meant to say we have located their position,” the subordinate hastily explained, afraid that the second young master would punish him if he showed any displeasure.
“In that case, lead me there immediately,” Lin Hongzhen said. He was curious to see who could beat his subordinates so thoroughly.
“Y-yes, of course,” the man replied nervously.
Under the guidance of the man, Lin Hongzhen arrived at the basement where a huge door stood before them.
“Is this where they are?” Lin Hongzhen asked his subordinate, looking at the large door in front of him.
“Yes, we’ve searched the entire villa, and this is the only place we haven’t checked,” the man replied.
“Then why haven’t you blasted the door open and captured them?” Lin Hongzhen was displeased. Since they knew their location, why hadn’t they taken action?
“We’ve tried, but this door seems to be made of some special material, and we…” Before the man could finish his sentence, Lin Hongzhen interrupted him.
“That’s enough, shut your mouth.”
Lin Hongzhen pushed him aside and approached the door. He raised his right hand, confirming that his own power was the most reliable.
After spending some time, he finally shattered the door. But as he prepared to capture the hostages, he found the room empty, and there was a pile of bombs about to explode.
“F***!!!” Lin Hongzhen’s last word before being engulfed in a burst of white light.
In fact, Yuluo and the others had already escaped under the cover of chaos. But before they left, they deliberately left a surprise, hoping that Lin Hongzhen and his subordinates would like it.
