[Vol. 2] Chapter 33: In the Future, I’ll Give You a Grand Wedding
Looking at the scene before her, Yinyue was stunned. It must have been her way of opening the door that was wrong.
Yinyue closed the door, took a deep breath, turned the doorknob, and opened the door again. But the scene before her remained the same as before.
Yinyue rubbed her eyes to confirm that there was nothing wrong with them, then took the first step forward.
As Yinyue walked down the red carpet, elegant music filled the air, and flower petals continuously fell from the sky, creating a shower of colors that added to the magical atmosphere of the moment. Making the wedding atmosphere more romantic and enchanting.
On the other side, Yuluo, dressed in groom’s attire, was ready to welcome Yinyue. However, there was a moment of silence when Yuluo saw Yinyue in a wedding dress.
She saw the most beautiful girl she had ever seen. The girl, with strands of silver hair cascading around her and blue eyes as enchanting as the sapphire, wore a pristine white wedding gown that radiated her purity and grace, transforming her into an ethereal being.
She resembled an angel descended from the heavens, bringing with her a mesmerizing allure that captivated all who beheld her.
When Yuluo focused her gaze on Yinyue, it was as if her eyes were filled only with Yinyue’s figure, unable to see anything else.
The word ‘beautiful’ can’t really express how stunning Yinyue looks right now.
It would be the happiest day of Yuluo’s life when she could marry the angel in front of her someday.
Yinyue spotted a black-haired girl in a suit not far away. At first sight, Yinyue knew she was her own young lady.
She was holding a bouquet of flowers and had changed her hairstyle to a single ponytail, which matched well with her suit. However, the young lady’s aura seemed to have changed again, indicating that there might be a headache for her later.
Seeming to know that Yinyue had noticed her, Yuluo smiled and turned to walk towards Yinyue, handing her a bouquet of flowers.
“Miss, are you trying to play bride and groom with me this time?” Yinyue took Yuluo’s flowers and guessed her intention.
“Sister Yueyue is very smart,” Yuluo said.
“I can play pretend with you, but I have a request.”
This time, Yinyue unexpectedly made her request, which surprised Yuluo a bit.
“What request?” Yuluo asked with interest.
“I won’t wear that bunny girl outfit,” Yinyue made her request. The other two were fine, but that one was a definite no-go.
“I thought Sister Yueyue might ask to play the groom. Okay, I happily agree to your request.”
Yinyue couldn’t help but feel like she had somehow lost out. ‘Darn it, why am I so careless? Isn’t this the same as admitting that I don’t mind being a bride?’
Yuluo extended her hand, and Yinyue, sensing the situation, pushed aside her slight annoyance and placed her hand in Yuluo’s palm.
The two girls held hands and walked together on the red carpet, moving towards the climax of the music as they ascended the steps.
At this moment, Yinyue’s heart was racing.
What was coming next?
Was it a kiss followed by entering the bridal chamber, or… wait, what was she even thinking?
Yinyue didn’t understand weddings. After all, her own mother had never been married and was still single.
Yinyue herself hadn’t initially planned on getting a girlfriend, getting married, or having children, somewhat influenced by Yinya. So, she was quite new to the idea of weddings.
Yuluo turned to look at Yinyue and extended her other hand towards her. Yinyue noticed Yuluo’s gesture and closed her eyes.
Since she didn’t know what was coming next, she might as well cooperate as best as she could with her young lady.
As Yinyue felt Yuluo’s hand approaching, her breathing became more rapid, her heart beating faster, as if she was anticipating something.
“Ouch, that hurts,” Yinyue exclaimed, covering her forehead, looking disappointed as if her anticipation had been shattered.
“Wouldn’t you expect me to do something to you, my dear Sister Yueyue?” Yuluo said with a hint of playfulness.
“N-No way,” Yinyue’s defiance returned, adamantly refusing to acknowledge any strange thoughts.
“But we’re in that kind of atmosphere, why don’t you continue?” Yinyue, carried away by the atmosphere, asked shyly.
Yuluo fell silent for a moment, her smile fading. Then she glanced at the rows behind them, where there was no one sitting in the chairs.
“Because it’s not the right time yet. When the time comes, I will definitely hold a grand wedding for my Sister Yueyue,” Yuluo said as she untied the ribbon from her hair, letting her hair fall loose, leaving Yinyue somewhat stunned.
“Is that so?” Yinyue looked disappointed.
Yinyue only just realized that besides herself and the young lady, there was no one else present at the scene. Such a wedding would indeed be too lonely.
“Oh~, did those words just mean Sister Yueyue really wants to marry me?” Yuluo said it in a playful tone.
“W-What?! No!” Yinyue said with a face turning very red.
“So, you don’t want to marry me?” Yuluo put on a fake sad expression.
“I never said I didn’t want to…” Yinyue said with a small voice.
“Wait! What did Sister Yueyue just say? Can you repeat that again?”
“I said nothing! Hmph.”
Yuluo clearly heard it, and her heart was filled with immense joy. She didn’t expect her Sister Yueyue to make such a respond to the conversation about their wedding. It seemed like it was just a few steps away until Sister Yueyue truly belonged to her.
“Alright, let’s not talk about this anymore. If Sister Yueyue really wants me to continue the wedding play, it’s not impossible. Just call me husband,” Yuluo smiled again.
“W-Who… who wants you to continue!” Yinyue said, feeling more embarrassed.
“Oh, I see. Sister Yueyue still remembers the first time you came here, right?” Yuluo said.
“Of course I do!”
That time, Yinyue endured humiliation here, being forced to become the young lady’s dress-up doll. Wait, why would the young lady say something like that now? Could it be…
“Has Sister Yueyue figured it out? But I’ve only recovered some scattered memories,” Yuluo said.
“So, young lady, you’re starting to recover?” Yinyue was now quite excited.
“Yes, but let’s get back to the point. Sister Yueyue, are you really not going to call me ‘husband’ even once?” Yuluo redirected the conversation.
“Do you even need to ask? Of course, that’s impossible,” Yinyue replied. It seemed absurd to entertain such a notion.
“Is that so? Then I’ll have to resort to special measures,” Yuluo said with a soft laugh.
“Special measures?” Yinyue was puzzled. She couldn’t imagine how the current young lady could overpower her.
“Yes, remember the photos I took of you back then?” Yuluo said.
“You’re corrupting yourself, Miss!” Upon hearing this, Yinyue instantly understood what the young lady meant by “special measures.”
“But all these were things Sister Yueyue taught me, weren’t they?”
It seemed like the apprentice had surpassed the master. Well… that analogy didn’t quite fit, but if she had known, she wouldn’t have taught the young lady so recklessly.
However, given the circumstances at the time, not teaching her was impossible. Otherwise, with the young lady’s naivety, she would only become a tool in marriage.
“Alright, I got it…”
Yinyue ultimately chose to compromise. Today was another day where Yinyue was played by the young lady. Hmph, next time, she would surely turn the tables.
“M-My… h-husband,” Yinyue said softly, feeling extremely embarrassed.
“What did Sister Yueyue say? I didn’t quite catch that!” Yuluo pretended not to hear, but Yinyue had no way to counter her.
“My husband!” Yinyue raised her voice.
“That’s how it should be, my dear wife.” Yuluo finally felt satisfied.
In the next moment, Yuluo leaned in closer and captured Yinyue’s lips in a passionate kiss. The music, which had momentarily paused, started again, signaling a continuation of their tender moment.
They didn’t stop until the music was over, enjoying the sweetness of the moment they shared.
As the music once again faded into silence, Yuluo withdrew her tongue from Yinyue’s. However, she couldn’t conceal her desire for more. Her gaze lingers on Yinyue with an unspoken desire for more.
“Alright, it’s time for us to go back,” Yuluo said.
“Just a moment, Miss, could you support me for a bit?” Yinyue felt a bit unsteady now.
“I almost forgot that Sister Yueyue seems to be quite sensitive now,” Yuluo realized that Yinyue had become sensitive.
Yuluo crouched down, which puzzled Yinyue.
Didn’t she ask her young lady to support her? Why did she crouch down? Then Yinyue understood Yuluo’s intention. Yuluo lifted Yinyue and slowly walked towards the exit.
“Miss, I suddenly feel like I can walk now. Could you put me down?” Yinyue tried to struggle, but her body couldn’t muster any strength at the moment.
“No, I can’t do that. What if Sister Yueyue falls? And it’s normal for a husband to carry her wife, isn’t it?”
“Who is your wife!!”
Yuluo carried Yinyue in a princess carry out of the door, and the room returned to its original state as if nothing had ever happened.
