Stolen Love - Chapter 75.1
The blood was transfused into Li Xin’s body. Qi Mo watched Li Xin’s cheeks gradually turning rosy, revealing a trace of vitality beneath the almost transparent whiteness of her cheeks. Seeing this, he waved his hand, and Li Hu turned around and walked out silently. When Qi Mo looked at Li Xin, his eyes were filled with blood and coldness. It would be preferable for him to get out of the way early to avoid further punishment.
Qi Mo stood by the bed, a hint of rage flashing across his eyes as he saw Li Xin’s complexion brighten. Is she going to wake up? Very good, he would be waiting for her.
Li Xin, who was disoriented, saw that a sliver of heat was pumped into her fatigued body, rejuvenating the already frigid body. She slowly opened her eyes with a slight fluttering of her eyelashes as the feeling of exhaustion faded.
Am I really not dead? She deduced that it was Qi Mo’s room by looking at the cold iron bars over her head. She was still in his room. Li Xin blinked open her eyes and glanced at the roof for a few moments, a small smile on the corner of her mouth. Fortunately, while saving Qi Mo was a positive thing, it was obviously the best scenario if she could stay alive. She was still young and hadn’t experienced enough life.
As she lay on the bed, staring at the roof, all of the phrases and thoughts associated with her fear of death flashed through her head, and she couldn’t help but secretly swear. She would not have come near to the end if she hadn’t intervened. Joking aside, she had only experienced the terror of death once. Even though she didn’t actually die, she had a negative image of it. She could guarantee that she would never sacrifice her own life to save Qi Mo if there was another occasion. Impulse! It was all due to her impulse. If it wasn’t all because of the scene’s dramatic atmosphere, she would never do such a thing again, even if she was killed.
“Sobered yet?” Suddenly, from the side, came a chilling voice. Li Xin turned her head to see Qi Mo staring coldly at her from the bedside in a trance. His presence can make people shiver as if he were a lion waiting to devour them.
What’s the meaning of this? He was still staring at her with that face, even though she had saved him all by herself. Is it possible that Qi Mo made a mistake? Were there too many individuals who risked their lives to help him, so it wasn’t unusual?! This is way overboard! “I saved you, so what’s with that expression?” she whispered hoarsely as she raised her eyes.
Qi Mo had a frigid expression on his face and was staring incomprehensibly at Li Xin. His squeaky voice sounded like a duck barking. His cheeks were red, but it wasn’t a bright red. He was lying there, appearing weak and tired, but the more Li Xin looked like this, the more enraged he became, his eyes almost bursting into flames as he stared at Li Xin.
At that sight, Li Xin couldn’t help but shiver. Could it be that saving him was a mistake? It didn’t feel like she was holding his life but rather murdering him.
“You disobeyed my command.” Li Xin’s rage grew as a result of the cold comment.
“Did you make a mistake by stating I violated your order?!” she exclaimed, glaring at Qi Mo. “Aren’t you aware that I was rescuing you? You’d be drinking tea with Hades if I hadn’t ignored your order! Why are you so irritable?! You regard my life as less valuable than yours, but my life is a priceless treasure to me! I understand you don’t want to thank me, but is this what I get when I open my eyes?!”
Li Xin finished ranting in one breath, her chest immediately clogged with unsteady breathing, and she couldn’t help but pull up the side of her head on the pillow and cough furiously. Her rage was intense.
