Summary
The Hero’s party was attacked by a large group of powerful devils. The party will no doubt be annihilated if this were to go on. One member of the party, the strongest mage, Ruck decided to stop the enemies in their tracks.
“Leave it to me here and go!”

Ruck mindlessly defeated the enemies, over and over again. Using his special skill, Learning, Ruck learned the devils’ magic. As he studied and utilised the devils’ abilities such as Drain Touch, he continued fighting, without rest nor sleep. The devils got stronger and stronger, but Ruck grew rapidly as well.
Ruck battled for 10 years, until no devils came at him. Ruck returned to the capital, and was surprised to discover that his own name had become the currency, and a gigantic statue of him, albeit fairly beautified, was made.
Due to him relentlessly absorbing the vitality of the devils, he had become young again. An appearance unfitting of his age. Godly abilities.

Ruck concealed his true identity, and decided to pretend being a novice adventurer by disguising himself as a F-rank warrior despite being an S-rank mage. His adventure in this now peaceful (?) world starts now!

That’s how I feel when it’s time to get off work on Sundays. I really don’t like Sundays. Even if they do give us Saturday and Sunday to clean. Not very often. I always leave work on Sunday with my brain barely functioning , too tired to do anything but eat supper and go to bed.

How not to get arrogant when you alone faced a horde of demons (an army that was probably continually sending reinforcements) and the demon lord himself? I believe only another domain lord or the evil god himself can be a worthy opponent at this point, anything else is just small fish and his only challenge would be to protect the chicken lord and his caretaker, the huntress, the apprentice and the friend’s daughter of the confusions that every MC attracts.

Y'know, now that I'm think about it I'm starting to wonder just how much blood do vampires need to sustain themselves in this universe and how often do they need to feed? There seems quite a few of them and they seem quite organized even allowing for the fact that this is their final push in support of their deities. Have they perhaps graduated from a "hunting/gathering" sustenance pattern towards the keeping of "herd animals"? ?
