Exhausted, Ein is taking a nap on the floor.

Ein takes out his staff from a magic formation and points it at Shannon.

It was a wonder he even managed to retain his human form.

Ein observes the center of the magical power storm with his mystic eyes.

As a Magician, Ein kills his mind and makes a cool decision.
A rampage of magical power of rank 10 or higher is just that much of a Catastrophe.
Trying to to stop it directly would only increase the body count.

He heard a voice.
Riding on the runaway magical power, the feeble voice was almost inaudible.
But Ein heard it.

Clenching his teeth, Ein kicked the floor with resolution.

Ein focuses his awareness on his mystic eye, and rotates his head at high speed, calculating the weak points.
If he misses a single detail; if he miscalculates even slightly, he dies at that point.

Putting up a magic barrier, Ein charged towards Shannon.
Using the mystic eyes and brain that he has cultivated through his magic research, he spotted the slight irregularity in the raging magical power runaway, and flew right into the middle of that storm, like a strand passing through the eye of a needle.
