A Sweet Girl Won't Be Fooled By The Villainess - [Vol. 6] Chapter 22
[Vol. 6] Chapter 22: Everyone Can Go
“Mom, I don’t want to leave you.”
“Wuwuwu, Daryl doesn’t want to either. Mom, are you going to abandon us?”
As soon as Amelia spoke, the two little ones immediately started crying.
The two identical little ones, with teary eyes and red eyes full of grievances, looked pitiful like little wet puppies, making people feel sorry just by looking at them.
Ifia, who had been somewhat hesitant because of Amelia’s words, immediately dissipated her hesitation, quickly reaching out to hug the two little ones.
Ifia quickly reassured them, saying, “How could Mom ever even think of leaving you behind! Don’t worry, my sweethearts. I will never send you away.”
These words elicited whimpers and tight hugs from the two children towards Ifia. However, from a perspective that Ifia could not see, a very arrogant and provocative glance was cast towards Amelia.
At the same time, they grinned, showing their teeth, looking like they deserved a smack.
Originally, Cheryl and Daryl had thought about playing the role of obedient children, after all, they couldn’t beat their demon mother.
But now, seeing that their demon mother was the first to tear apart her pretense and try to send them away… well, there was no need to continue pretending to be innocent, everyone relied on their own abilities.
Although they were still young and not opponents for their demon mother, they had a trump card to save their lives.
Their beloved Mom, Ifia!
Even the demon mother has to step aside~
While the two little demons were showing off, Amelia remained unchanged, except for a slight gleam of sharpness in her red eyes, which flashed by so quickly that no one noticed.
“Ifia, you spoil them too much. If you continue like this, Cheryl and Daryl won’t be able to move among demons in the future, and they might even come under attack.”
Amelia didn’t look at the two little demons again, but directed her gaze at Ifia’s face. The words that immediately came out of her mouth made Ifia frown with some annoyance. After a moment of hesitation and inner turmoil, she shook her head and refused Amelia.
“Amelia, they’re too young. Despite their appearance, they’re only a few months old. I can’t bear to leave them!”
After saying this, she remembered something and quickly added, “Also, Cheryl and Daryl aren’t pure demons, they’re hybrids!”
Although Ifia didn’t feel much involved in the appearance of the two little ones, she couldn’t deny that they had her genes… Even if the demon genes were dominant, they were still hybrids.
The most important thing was that they’re her own children, whom she gave birth to.
So, there was no need to let the two little ones go through the same pain as demons, they should grow up well by her side!
The more she thought about it, the more she felt it was right.
Ifia immediately stood up resolutely, refusing to agree to take the little ones away from her side.
However, these words left Amelia shaking her head helplessly. She thought the acting skills of those two little demons were impressive. They were only born a few months ago, yet they were already so skilled at deception, completely fooling Ifia.
Amelia knew Ifia wasn’t very bright and usually didn’t bother to think much. Now, seeing her being deceived by the little demons, she immediately felt the need to keep a closer eye on her in the future. It would be terrible if someone else managed to deceive her.
“Amelia, don’t send the little ones away. As their mother, I can’t leave them!”
Even after seeing that Amelia hadn’t spoken, Ifia couldn’t hold back and immediately pleaded, looking over with watery black eyes, blinking as if she would throw herself on the ground if she didn’t get her way.
What else could Amelia do but reluctantly agree?
Amelia, who was usually cold and stern to everyone, couldn’t resist Ifia’s pleading. She always easily changed her mind when it came to Ifia… which wasn’t something to be proud of for a demon.
However, Amelia felt it was not bad, she didn’t want to see Ifia sad. But… those two annoying little demons had to be dealt with.
After seeing that Amelia didn’t continue insisting on sending the two little ones away, Ifia immediately breathed a sigh of relief. She was hungry after sleeping until the afternoon, so she promptly took Amelia and the children back to the restaurant for a meal!
Although Amelia could provide ready-made food, nothing compared to the deliciousness of Ifia’s cooking. Ifia didn’t slack off. Instead, she showed off her skills, allowing Amelia to enjoy a good meal.
Although demons’ body shapes wouldn’t easily change, there was no drastic weight loss or gain as in humans, but to Ifia’s eyes, it was noticeable!
While the two little ones enjoyed their meal, Ifia, who had eaten only half full, began to try to pry information out of Amelia.
“Amelia, where is the system that you extracted from my soul yesterday?”
Regarding the system’s whereabouts, Ifia felt that as the former host, she still needed to be concerned.
Just the thought of no longer being bound to the system made Ifia wake up laughing at night.
It wasn’t that the system was sarcastic and difficult to deal with, but Ifia hoped for freedom without constraints.
Therefore, as former colleagues, their relationship had become like this.
“It’s locked up, waiting for a response from the main god,” Amelia said truthfully.
She had originally intended to take advantage of this time to torture the system, but the system proposed an offer she couldn’t resist.
A daughter resembling Ifia.
As a result, the system escaped disaster, but if there was no response from the main god in the future, it would still meet its end at her hands.
Upon hearing that Amelia hadn’t directly killed the system, Ifia silently breathed a sigh of relief. She didn’t continue to inquire but changed the topic.
“Amelia, after we finish eating, let’s go for a walk by the seaside!”
Ifia had already figured it out. The relationship between Amelia and the two little ones was extremely poor.
It needed to change.
Therefore, Ifia thought for a moment and came up with a solution… parent-child activities!
With more interaction between both sides, and with her acting as a mediator to bridge the gap, they might soon get along well.
Having stayed in the forbidden land for so long, Ifia couldn’t think of anything else besides going to the seaside. There are too few entertainment venues here.
“At the seaside? Just the two of us?”
Upon hearing Ifia’s words, Amelia’s eyes softened with tenderness. She smiled, reaching out to grasp Ifia’s small hand, allowing joy to surge through her body, wandering aimlessly.
Ifia didn’t expect Amelia to say that and inexplicably couldn’t explain herself.
She felt a little guilty.
However, her two daughters, who were eating, immediately put down their bowls and quickly changed their expression to one of grievance.
“Mom, we want to go too!”
“Yeah, Sister and I will always be with Mom, and nobody can drive us away.”
When Daryl said the last sentence, she glared directly at Amelia.
This made Ifia somewhat helpless as she raised her hand to rub her forehead. She intended to make Amelia and the children shake hands and make peace, rather than escalate the conflict. So she raised her hand and made a silencing gesture.
“Don’t argue, everyone can go.”
She couldn’t help but feel that getting them to get along harmoniously was an incredibly difficult task!
Even the idea of going for a walk by the seaside later started to raise concerns.
