“Fwahahaha! Amazing, Barbera! I, a knight, am riding a dragon and soaring through the sky! Just like the legendary Dragon Knight! No, wait—I’m a Holy Knight! So perhaps I should call myself the Holy Dragon Knight!”
“Your excitement’s through the roof, Chloe. Just don’t get so excited that you fall off, okay?”
“Hehe, don’t worry, Naoya-san. Even if we fall, we’ll manage somehow.”
“By ‘manage,’ you mean because you’re tough or can heal, right, Anna-san? You don’t mean we’d come back as undead, right?”
It’s been 25 days since I became the manager of the Aion Mall Otherworldly Store.
After finishing our inspection of the port town, we’re now on our way back to the Aion Mall.
Riding on Barbera, who’s reverted to her dragon form.

It apparently takes about two weeks by carriage, but with Barbera’s wings, it’s just a few hours.
Since seeing a dragon would cause a commotion, we waited until night to fly.

It’s not just me, Chloe, and Anna-san riding on Barbera’s back.
A large iguana, the head honcho and big shot of the fishing port, is accompanying us.
Barbera Papa wanted to come along too, but his wife stopped him.
Apparently, he has to go back home to have a “talk” about his stint as the port town’s guard.
Even the mighty Scarlet Elder Dragon has things to be afraid of.
“Huh? Now that I think about it, didn’t you visit the Aion Mall a couple of days ago, Iguana-san?”
“Thanks for taking care of me back then, Manager-san.”
“It takes two weeks by carriage, right? How did you get back to the port town?”
“That’s a good question. Well, I’ll tell you all about it when we’re settled in.”
“Please do. Depending on how you did it, it might solve our fresh fish transportation problem.”
“Sure thing! But for now, let’s enjoy the flight since Ojou was kind enough to give us a ride!”
“Hmph, you understand well, Dragonkin! But I won’t relinquish the title of Holy Dragon Knight!”
“Is that something worth competing over? Besides, aside from Chloe, none of us are knights in the first place.”
Even while flying on Barbera’s back, there’s hardly any wind noise.
We’re flying quite high to avoid being noticed from the ground, but it’s not cold at all.
Apparently, this is thanks to “dragon magic.” Magic really is amazing.
“I mean, back in my world, we never could have imagined flying through the sky like this.”
I murmur as I gaze at the scenery.
In my old world, you could see lights even at night, but the ground here is dark.
I can’t even see the road that should be below us.
Apparently, Anna-san can see it. Being undead is incredible.
“I’m not sure how it will go, but we’ve managed to make contact with the head honcho of the fishing port. Even if that doesn’t work out, we might be able to buy seafood from the fish market in small quantities. If we can just solve the transportation issue, we might manage something.”
I mutter while gazing at the stars.
Even if we manage to secure seafood, the goal of achieving one billion yen in monthly sales is still far off.
However, enhancing the supermarket division, which people use daily, is the first step toward increasing the sales of the Aion Mall in this world.
There are still many hurdles, but just having made progress on the first inspection is a good start.
