Seneca of Cordoba Village is a tomboyish girl who dreams of becoming a hero.
She grew up alongside her childhood friends, aspiring to be as strong as her parents.
However, at the age of ten, the skill Seneca was granted was the non-combat, mundane ?Sewing?.
Meanwhile, her childhood friend Lucius acquired the extraordinary skill ?Holy Magic? and set off for the royal capital’s church…
“You, with a useless skill like ?Sewing?—do you still think you can become an adventurer?”
In her despair, such heartless words pierced her heart.
But Seneca refused to give up.
She believed in herself and continued to work tirelessly.
Whether it was fabric or leather, she believed that one day, she would be able to stitch anything.
Overcoming setbacks, Seneca pressed on, gaining companions along the way.
She kept running forward, striving to gain the strength to protect what she holds dear,
all while dreaming of the day she could embark on an adventure with her childhood friend.
Read on to discover Seneca’s journey!

Looks like Lucius and Kito both have a strong share of common sense. Absolute worst case scenario given what the story has laid out so far? An adventurer with a lifestyle skill can probably guarantee a greater degree of comfort for herself and her party while out on expedition than most parties have and in real life that's not a small thing at all. ?

Exactly. Call me a dreamer, but when I read the synopsis she was bestowed with the 'Sewing' skill, I thought of grand feats like sewing a chasm together or sewing the sky to form nighttime. Sewing cuts, wounds and flesh together seem possible as well.
Towering Barbarian
Y'know, sewing might not be a bad skill for those who would like Cloaks of Protection, Bags of Holding or Magic Leather Armor. Just sayin'. ?
Towering Barbarian
I sense the potential for booby trap creation! ?
Delta Angelfire
not OP yet as of chapter 10, but seems to be going a (mild) body-horror debuffer route as opposed to what I expected to be instant miracle surgeon route, though that may still happen later I'm sure.
Towering Barbarian
I'm glad you're better. I hope you stay well rested and avoid a relapse. Please stay well. ?
Towering Barbarian
You might find Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin D taken on a daily basis to be helpful. I'll continue to hope things get better for you. ?
Towering Barbarian
Looks like we're about to get some action. ?
Towering Barbarian
Sounds like Kito has gone for the "Strong for her level" approach. ?

Jane Jacobs once drew a distinction between efficiency and effectiveness in The Economy Of Cities. Efficiency can be good. Effective is better. Looks Seneca was effective. ?

Wow, already such a moving start. Thank you translator and looking forward to more~! ?
rosafloera
Excited to see what the author has in mind

With that skill she can potentially sharpen any knife, sword, scissors, etc. She inherited her father's katana…
rosafloera
Damnnn this was beyond my expectations, SEWING a living being itself as an attack… wow

An Oath taken under the Moonlight is the best Oath

FInally Maior reached level 2! It was a long time coming. What Seneca did should make some progress on her level. Maybe level 3 soon? Glad they seem fine after such draining event and dangerous injury, especially Seneca. Wonder how her organs are…
rosafloera
Ooh I wonder what the heck is going on…. I don't like that Primus priest guy very much. Hopefully something will be done.
Towering Barbarian
Remember Seneca, if captured by the Cyclops be sure and tell him your name is No Man. When escaping him do not taunt him and then reveal your true name. ?
Towering Barbarian
Hm! I thought for sure she would send her needle directly into his only eye. Silly me. ?
Cryum
That was kinda lame. If she's thrusting through the enemy, she should at least use a weapon thats not a katana.
Diggydawg
This being a Japanese web novel… she's gonna do a "kagenui" (shadow stitch) ain't she?
