I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History - Chapter 486
I spent an elegant tea time with Duke-sama in the student council room.
It was a strange feeling because I usually rarely spend such a leisurely time with Duke-sama.
I mean, it was the first time for me and Duke-sama to have tea together, wasn’t it?
I had thought we had known each other for quite a long time, but we had never spent time like this before. …This was how nobles were supposed to spend their time, wasn’t it?
“It’s strange, isn’t it?”
“What?”
Duke-sama tilted his head curiously at my words.
“When have we ever had a leisurely cup of tea together? Gilles is always there…”
“Well, we both have always been involved in some kind of happening, you know.”
Looking at Duke-sama laughing happily, I thought that he must be quite a strange guy to have fallen in love with such a young lady who had been involved in so many happenings.
“I’m surprised you did not end up hating me.”
“Hating you?”
“I’m selfish and always causing some kind of trouble, right?”
“That’s what I love about you, you know.”
“…Duke-sama really have strange taste.”
“I don’t care what Alicia says about me.”
He smiled at me and his smile was so gentle that I couldn’t help but be glued to his face.
For the first time, I felt possessive inside myself, wishing that Duke-sama would only smile this kindly in front of me.
…Before I realized, I was quite fond of Duke-sama, huh?
At first, I just thought of him as a beautiful, dominant type of man, but before I knew it, I had fallen in love with him.
Before, I was thinking more about winning over Liz than love…but to be honest, now more than winning over Liz, I was happier to be recognized by Duke-sama as an independent human being.
“The days I spend with Alicia are exciting and never get old.”
“It’s a pleasure?”
I could not tell if it was a compliment or not.
Exciting and interesting would also imply that I was a trouble-maker, wouldn’t it?
…It was frustrating that I couldn’t deny it.
Duke-sama was always one step ahead of me, so I decided to challenge him a little.
“So, it will be a very boring day when I’m gone, won’t it?”
The smile faded from Duke-sama’s face the moment I said that, as he placed his teacup on the desk and turned his gaze toward me.
I was caught by his blue eyes that were staring straight at me. I could not look away.
I tried to say something, but nothing came out.
“I can’t think of you leaving, and I won’t allow it.”
…How did he spend his time while I was in Ravaal Kingdom?
No, maybe he believed that I would always come back. Because Duke-sama’s actions were always for me….
“You are the only woman who has ever given color to my life.”
Duke-sama said and stood up and moved his face closer to mine.
While I was fumbling around, he kissed me. A soft touch hit my lips.
…Eh?
Did I always have a mindset of accepting his kiss?
Duke-sama kissed me so many times that I couldn’t think of anything else.
“Ah, um!”
I panicked and pulled Duke-sama away from my body.
“Hey, please wait a minute.”
I could feel my own face temperature rising quickly.
Duke-sama looked at me with a slightly displeased expression. I felt a little frustrated at this relaxed attitude of Duke-sama toward me, who was doing her best with a bright red face.
“My feelings are not catching up with you.”
“I’ve put up with a lot. This much is acceptable.”
Duke-sama said and hugged me tightly.
I thought he was going to kiss me again.
I did stop him, so maybe he stopped doing it because of me.
“They say my rationality is now at the level of a national treasure, you know.”
Duke-sama muttered, sighing lightly.
I could feel that he cared about me. At that moment, I felt very much in love with Duke-sama.
