I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History - Chapter 500
500
“This is Auges Trading Company.”
I got out of the carriage and looked at the magnificent house.
…It was as big as a minor aristocrat’s house. The architecture was a bit peculiar, though.
“It’s kind of…”
“It’s so bulky.”
Gilles nodded to my comment.
This house is the only one that stands out in the town, which I guess is Gordon-san’s taste. It looks like a show of economic power, but that was not a bad thing.
Gilles knocks on the door. After a moment, the door slowly opened.
A tall, slim man appeared from inside.
…He had a good figure.
I couldn’t help but admire his model-like figure. He must be in his late twenties…If Gordon-san’s face is considered as a source, his face is salt.
“Who?”
He asked me suspiciously as soon as he saw my face.
I was surprised to see him talking to me for the first time. And his appearance suggests that he was not a servant. …Was he working for the Auges Trading Company?
“My name is Alicia Williams, and I’m here on a business matter with Gordon-sama.”
I said and greeted him politely.
He looked annoyed and turned to the house and exclaimed, “Dad!”.
…Dad?
Gilles and I couldn’t help but nod our heads together.
Was this man also Gordon’s son? They looked nothing alike. They have opposite body types of his other son.
I thought Harris was the only son. I guess I have not assumed so.
“…Eh, someone from the Williams family? Wait, I didn’t think someone from the Williams family wanted to see us.”
He confirmed my name again after all this time, mumbling to himself.
This guy was so weird.
I would say that he seemed to be out of it…. But he certainly seemed to be able to get the job done.
Duelkis Kingdom was full of interesting people as well.
“Alicia-sama!”
I heard Gordon-san’s voice from far away.
I could sense his surprise at my sudden appearance, even without seeing him.
“I knew it! Are you… the daughter of the Williams family?”
Gordon-san’s son stared at me, wide-eyed.
“Indeed.”
He didn’t realize it even though I had just introduced myself to him.
“Well, you have that look…”
“Alicia-sama.”
Gordon-san appeared at the same time he spoke.
He was wearing a white suit again today. He was a big, good-looking guy. …but the two didn’t look alike from any angle.
I thought they might look a little like each other, but they didn’t look alike at all.
If anything, the son’s skin was so pale that I wondered if he had never been in the sun.
“Long time no see, Gordon-san.”
I gave him a business smile, and Gordon-san gave me a smile with room to spare as well.
He didn’t seem to be in a hurry at all because of my appearance. I guess that was to be expected of a first-rate businessman.
“What can I do for you?”
“Would you like to have some tea with me?”
I smiled softly, as if my business smile had suddenly relaxed.
