I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History - Chapter 501
501
We were brought to a good smelling parlor…. It had the aroma of an elegant rose.
I was sitting on a bright red sofa, having tea facing Gordon-san.
Next to me was Gilles, and next to Gordon-san was Gilbert. While we were walking to the parlor, Gordon-san told me that his son’s name was Gilbert.
But why was he present?
I wish I could talk to Gordon-san alone.
Perhaps reading my thoughts, Gordon-san chuckled.
“You don’t need to be around Gil?”
“Yes.”
I replied without mercy.
Villainesses never cared about their appearance. Besides, I didn’t want him to hear about Julie-sama.
Gilbert stood up, not seeming to be in a bad mood, and said, “I’ve got things to do, I’m leaving”.
“Well, wait.”
Gordon-san stopped Gilbert.
What’s going on? Gordon-san should have known that I was here to ask about Julie-sama.
“Let’s get acquainted a little first. If we don’t start by getting to know each other, we’ll never be able to share the information we want.”
Gordon-san was right. Gilbert took his seat once more.
“Your Son, right? I thought it was just Harris-san.”
Gordon laughed at my words with a sigh.
“That idiot is no longer my son.”
He said quite harshly with a smile on his face. Was this a world where those who were useless were mercilessly cut down?
That’s pretty badass! He and I seem to be kindred spirits.
“I’m blessed. I have many children.”
“I’m glad to hear that.”
“Gil’s a good kid, he’s not very social, but he’s good at what he does.”
Gordon-san said so, meaning that Gilbert must really be a very capable person.
…Harris-san must have been in a lot of trouble having an older brother who was so good.
Well, in this world, one should not be so naive. The weak grow stronger and the strong get even more powerful! The strongest survive!
“You had that boy with you before, but he’s not from the Williams family, is he?”
Now it was my turn to be questioned.
“He’s my assistant, a very talented one.”
“Is that so, still so young… I’m looking forward to seeing you in the future.”
After staring at Gilles as if he were inspecting him, Gordon-san’s expression suddenly relaxed.
“I’m going to be blunt: I want information about Julie-sama.”
There was no time to waste. I said this while looking into Gordon-san’s eyes.
I couldn’t afford long-winded inquiries. Sometimes I have to be direct about what I want to ask.
“Julie-sama, huh?”
Gordon-san grinned.
Gilbert yawns in boredom. Were they really father and son?
“What do I get in return?”
I knew he wouldn’t tell me for free.
Surely, he wouldn’t want money. As evidenced by this mansion, he lives a very luxurious life. He was making that much money.
But…
“I heard that Auges Trading Company’s credibility has been damaged since the Harris-san incident.”
