The moment I said it, the air in the room suddenly became heavy.

What on earth was this atmosphere…? I looked at Gordon-san, who was releasing this oppressive atmosphere, in amazement.

Gilbert was standing next to him, looking cool and collected. It seemed that Gilles next to me could also feel this pressure.

Sweat beading on our foreheads, Gilles and I waited for Gordon-san to speak.

I found myself thinking that Gordon-san, who had created this atmosphere again unlike before, was also cool.

“Are you prepared to negotiate with me as an equal?”

“Yes, of course.”

I smiled refreshingly in the tense atmosphere. I mustn’t show any signs of impatience here.
