[Vol. 2] Chapter 12: Sleepwalking
After discussing matters with Yi Luo, Yinya returned to the living room. She now wanted to see the unfamiliar girl.
“Where’s Yinyue?”
Upon Yinya’s return, she found only Xueluo and Xia Qiuxue in the living room, while Yinyue was nowhere to be seen.
“Well, Sister Yinyue said she wanted to cook and do housework to vent her emotions,” Xueluo replied.
“I see.”
Not only is she very beautiful, but she is also really capable. No wonder Yuluo likes her so much.
Speaking of which, if Yeming really becomes her girlfriend, should she call Yinyue ‘mother-in-law’? But for some reason, she still feels that calling her Yinyue is more natural.

“So, do you know where Lily’s room is?”

“Xueluo, did you forget that Lily is still being attached by that girl? Besides, the door isn’t locked, so we can just go in,” Xia Qiuxue observed, suggesting that there was no need to make it complicated.
“That would be too impolite. How can we just walk in without knocking? Isn’t that right, Miss Yinya?” Xueluo turned to look at Yinya.

Yinya was momentarily unsure how to respond.
“What’s wrong? Miss Yinya, am I wrong?” Xueluo looked at Yinya, wondering if she had made a mistake.
“No, no, Xueluo is right. It would be too impolite. How could anyone behave like that? It’s really annoying,” Yinya responded.
If Yinyue were here, Yinya would never say such things, but since she wasn’t, Yinya could only go along with Xueluo’s suggestion.
“Come in,” Lily’s voice came from inside.
With Lily’s permission, everyone entered the room without hesitation.
“Lily, what’s with that look of despair? It’s quite amusing.”
Xia Qiuxue couldn’t help but laugh when she saw Lily’s expression, never expecting Lily to have such a day.
“Stop laughing. If you keep laughing, you’ll lose a year’s worth of good merit,” Lily said.
“Merit, do I really need that stuff?”
In Xia Qiuxue’s eyes, merit was nothing more than a useless concept. It couldn’t even provide her with a different meal.
“Xia Qiuxue, stop reveling in others’ misfortune,” Xueluo interjected.
“Alright, alright, I’ll try not to laugh as much,” Xia Qiuxue responded after hearing Xueluo’s words, attempting to stifle her laughter.
“Is this the girl you encountered?”
Yinya approached the girl, carefully observing her. The girl seemed to hold Lily tighter in response to her gaze.
“Don’t be afraid, she’s not a bad person.”
Lily quickly reassured her, surprised at how timid the girl was. With Lily’s comforting, the girl’s emotions gradually stabilized.
“Do you remember your name?” Yinya asked the girl, unaware that she couldn’t speak.
“Miss Yinya, I forgot to tell you, she can’t speak.”
Xueluo’s voice carried a hint of apology, realizing she forgot to mention such an important detail.
“I see,” Yinya responded.
She hadn’t realized the girl couldn’t speak, which meant she wouldn’t be able to get any relevant information from her, making things a bit troublesome.
Otherwise, we could try having her write, but even if the girl in front of us can write, given her current state of holding Lily, this method is clearly not feasible.
While Yinya was contemplating, the girl in Lily’s arms suddenly became agitated. She released Lily, clutching her head and showing a pained expression.
Xueluo immediately approached the bedside and began to use her abilities to heal the girl. Under Xueluo’s treatment, the girl’s condition improved slightly, but she also temporarily lost consciousness and fell into a deep sleep.
“It seems my words just now upset her,” Yinya said.
“What should we do now?” Lily looked at the girl lying still on the bed.
“That’s a good question. She’s your responsibility now,” Xia Qiuxue approached the bed and said to Lily.

Lily didn’t want to take care of her anymore. She had finally let go of her, and if the girl woke up and held onto her again, what would she do?
“Because she clearly likes you more,” Xia Qiuxue laughed.
It was obvious to anyone with discerning eyes that the girl clearly had a fondness for Lily.
“What do you mean she likes me? There’s nothing like that.”
Lily crossed her arms, denying it, but her slightly blushing cheeks seemed to betray her.
“You used to love it when you saw other girls being affectionate to each other, right? Now there’s a beautiful girl being affectionate with you, and you’re still rejecting her?” Xia Qiuxue said.
“That’s different,” Lily insisted.
“Alright, you two, stop arguing. Lily, and Xueluo, can you help take care of her?” Yinya interrupted them.
“Fine, since Lady Yinya has spoken.”
Though somewhat reluctant, since Lady Yinya had given the order, she had to comply. Maybe she could get an autograph or something out of it later.
“Oh, I remember you mentioned having the ability to fly, right?” Yinya suddenly grabbed Xia Qiuxue’s shoulder.
Xia Qiuxue suddenly had a bad feeling. The way she said it… she wouldn’t be asking her to take her somewhere, would she?
“Judging by your expression, you probably guessed it already. That’s right, I want you to take me somewhere,” Yinya said, smiling.
“Can I refuse?”
Rarely able to spend time with Xueluo, she didn’t want to go running around wasting precious time.
“Sorry, no.” Yinya was firm. Xia Qiuxue knew she didn’t have the right to refuse, so she had to comply.
In the kitchen, Yinyue was swiftly chopping vegetables with a knife, muttering curses at Xiao Xuan under her breath. It seemed like she was imagining the vegetables were Xiao Xuan himself.

Yinyue wiped the sweat from her brow, finally finishing the chopping. But it seemed unsatisfying, if only she could really chop up that bastard Xiao Xuan. That would be perfect.
“Mom, something bad happened. Dad, she’s sleepwalking,” Yeming appeared at the door.
“What!”
Yinyue rushed back to the room upon hearing Yeming’s words. Yuluo had already gotten out of bed, but her eyes remained closed, indicating she was truly sleepwalking.
Yinyue had never seen this before. Yuluo had never sleepwalked in the past, leaving Yinyue feeling a bit bewildered. But one thing was certain, she had to ensure her young lady wasn’t startled awake.
Seeing Yuluo slowly heading towards the wardrobe and about to collide with it, Yinyue hurriedly embraced her gently.
That was close, she almost collided. Thankfully, she reacted in time.
At that moment, Yuluo’s hand reached out towards Yinyue.
“Huh! Miss, is she trying to… No, that’s not allowed!”
Yinyue wanted to resist, but she was afraid of waking Yuluo, so she could only let Yuluo have her way.
