[Vol. 2] Chapter 41: Something’s Off

After Lily took out her art book, Yinyue’s face turned red from the images.

She covered her face, unsure of what she was doing.

Yinyue felt dizzy. Could girls really have so many different ways of interacting with each other? Now that she thought about it, her young lady was quite gentle with her and had not crossed the line yet.

Lily wiped her sweat.

It seemed that Yinyue wouldn’t be thinking about going to Yinya’s room for a while. She probably needed some time to process the images she had just seen.

Come to think of it, by doing this, have I exposed myself as a yuri enthusiast? I wonder what Yinyue will think later. This sacrifice for Yinya and them is truly significant.

“Haa~” Lily yawned, feeling a bit tired.

Lying on the sofa, Lily felt drowsiness washing over her. Gradually, she closed her eyes.

…………

In Yinya’s room, Yinya was slowly opening her eyes, holding her head.

She felt a bit dizzy.

What happened?

Where are my clothes? Yinya remembered she didn’t have the habit of sleeping naked. She looked around and noticed a pile of torn fabric on the bed. Wait, isn’t that my clothes?

Yinya tried to get up but found her body sore, feeling heavy, as if something was pressing down on her.

“Wait a moment, it feels like I’m being pressed down.”

Yinya recalled everything that had happened before. She covered her face, feeling embarrassed. She had been pinned down by Yeming, and they had done that kind of thing.

After a few minutes, Yinya finally calmed down. Where is Yeming? It was only then that Yinya realized Yeming was missing.

She felt the warmth underneath her body. Could it be… Yinya lifted the blanket and indeed found Yeming here.

However, Yeming had turned back into a cat at this point, which was why Yinya hadn’t noticed earlier.

Yinya gently picked up Yeming and placed her beside her pillow.

“She’ll take responsibility, right? It was my first time,” Yinya murmured as she stroked Yeming’s head.

Yinya stopped her actions. She needed to tidy up quickly, just in case someone came and saw. She got up and started cleaning up the battlefield.

The blanket needed washing. Yinya placed Yeming on the pillow and then pulled the blanket down.

After Yinya’s efforts, the room looked much cleaner, except for that one blanket.

“Shouldn’t I find some clothes to wear? It feels chilly. Yeming was a bit too rough. But… it was kind of comfortable. No, now is not the time to think about this.”

Yinya shook her head and quickly grabbed a piece of clothing from the wardrobe, putting it on.

“This is much better.”

Yinya wiped away her sweat. Under her diligent hands, the entire room became refreshed. Except for that blanket, which probably needed to be put through the washing machine.

At that moment, there was a knocking at the door, leaving Yinya puzzled. Who would be knocking at this time?

Outside the door, Yinyue was knocking. Lily, who had just woken up, was following behind her.

“Sister Yinyue, maybe we should come back later. What if Lady Yinya hasn’t woken up yet?” Lily suggested, trying to delay Yinyue’s steps, but it didn’t seem to work.

“Don’t worry, I heard some noise from inside. Ahem… Lady Yinya should be awake,” Yinyue replied.

Yinyue had heard the commotion from inside, so her mom shouldn’t be asleep by now.

“Also, I’ll keep your art book safe for you. You’ve only recently come of age, so it’s not suitable for you to see these things,” Yinyue said.

During Lily’s nap, Yinyue had finally calmed down and confiscated Lily’s special art book.

“Hey, objection! I put in a lot of effort to get that, and aren’t we the same age?” Lily protested, raising her hand.

“Objection is overruled, and I’m more mature than you think,” Yinyue said.

As they were chatting, the door slowly opened.

“Yinyue, what brings you to my room?” Yinya blinked, looking at the two outside the door.

“Sorry for the interruption. I’m looking for Yeming. Have you seen her?” Yinyue explained.

“She’s sleeping in my room,” Yinya replied.

“So that’s how it is. But how did Yeming end up sleeping here?” Yinyue was puzzled.

After all, her daughter shouldn’t randomly come to her mom room without a reason.

“It was the commotion I made that drew her here. I gave her a glass of milk, and she fell asleep afterward,” Yinya explained the situation.

Of course, she couldn’t mention what happened afterward.

Should Yinya call Yinyue mother-in-law now? But will Yinyue approve of her?

“I’m sorry for the trouble, Lady Yinya,” Yinyue said.

“No, it’s no trouble at all. Yeming… she’s very cute,” Yinya stuttered a bit.

“Then let this little one continue sleeping. I’ll take my leave,” Yinyue said.

After observing Yeming, who was sound asleep in bed, and confirming that she was fine, Yinyue chose to leave.

As soon as Yinyue left, Lily rushed in and grabbed Yinya’s hands, asking about the progress.

“Well, it was… somewhat successful, I guess. But Yeming seemed to be drunk,” Yinya said awkwardly.

“Drunk? Did you give her alcohol?” Lily couldn’t recall her plan involving getting Yeming drunk.

“No, if anything, I gave her some milk,” Yinya quickly explained.

“Milk?” Lily was confused. How could drinking milk make someone drunk?

…………

Meanwhile, Yinyue returned to her room, where Yuluo was currently combing her hair.

Seeing Yinyue approaching, Yuluo stopped her actions and placed the comb back on the dressing table.

“Sister Yueyue, did you find Yeming?” Yuluo spoke slowly.

“I did. She’s sleeping in Miss Yinya’s room,” Yinyue disclosed Yeming’s current whereabouts.

“Is that so? That’s good then.”

Yuluo breathed a sigh of relief. What if their daughter had really gone missing? Maybe she should put a tracker on Yeming.

“But how did Yeming end up sleeping in Miss Yinya’s room?” Yuluo asked.

“According to Miss Yinya, it seems she fell asleep after drinking milk,” Yinyue answered Yuluo’s question.

“After drinking milk!” Yuluo’s expression turned to one of surprise.

“What’s wrong? Is there something amiss?” Yinyue asked.

“Well, I seem to remember that Yeming can’t drink milk. Something bad happens, but I can’t recall exactly,” Yuluo rubbed her temples, trying to recollect the fuzzy memory, but to no avail.

“But I didn’t notice anything wrong with Yeming. It’s probably just you misremembering, Miss.”

Yinyue observed Yeming, who seemed to be sleeping peacefully. However, her mother’s condition seemed a bit off. She realized she had been negligent and should inquire about her mother’s condition.

“Let’s hope so,” Yuluo said.

Since Sister Yueyue said Yeming seemed fine, she decided not to worry about it for now.
