Summer vacation has started, but I haven’t even been to Patrick’s estate, let alone my own.
My fever hasn’t gone down.
I’ve been running a low fever for a while now, feeling somewhat lethargic, but the doctors said traveling for days in a carriage wouldn’t be feasible.
So despite it being a rare opportunity for a break, I’ve been cooped up in the mansion the whole time.
Patrick has visited me several times, but he had to return to his estate a few days ago. After he graduates next year, he will be fully involved in the management of the territory, so he is preparing for that.

He said he would allow him to pursue me, but if Theodore ever lays a hand on me, he swore he’d disown him and never let him see me again. Theodore, who has given up restraining his feelings, seems to want to express his affection for me in every possible way. But it’s overwhelming. It’s like… he’s smothering me with excessive care, almost like a mother would love her child. It’s tough in various ways.
Today, unusually, Theodoro is out.
There’s a garden party that students remaining in the capital are attending.
Theodore was reluctant to go, but he was told by Father, “This is also for the sake of your future with Xia,” and convinced himself to go out.

He says it again and pulls me closer to him, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
“Your Highness…”
“Why don’t you call me Leo?”
As he holds me close, the prince leans in and kisses my forehead.

“Xia. Haven’t you remembered yet? You called me Leo back then… I was so happy when you remembered.”
