The Knights’ Joint Training (1) – The Gathering of Troublemakers

First was The 3rd Division led by Zackhart-sama tasked to guard Gedland, they were known for being upright and powerful.

Next was the 4th Division, who fought with me in Kitsar Fortress. They might not be flashy, but the way they fought with their tenacious heavily armored knights was really impressive.

Then there was the 5th Division. I only had a few interactions with them, but they were the division that had fought back the Empire’s invasion so of course, their abilities were no less than other divisions. The leader of the 5th Division, Bekstadt-sama was a man of few words, but the letter he wrote has always had an impressive length.

There was also the 6th Division, a division that I had a very close relationship with. It seemed that their new commander had finally been chosen.

Lasly, there was the 7th Division. They were led by Thor di Solgia-sama, the person who was strong enough to fight the twin in two vs one fight and won.

Of course, there was the host of the joint training, us, the 10th Division.

Although each division had only brought a small number of their knights, this was still the first time that such a large number of knights gathered in one place ever since the start of war with the Empire. This time, the limit of knights that each division could bring was set to be a maximum of 600 people.

So, if each division had 600 knights, the number would be exactly 1,000 if the new knights were included at the time of the joint training.

Also, we did offer the 1st Division to participate in the joint training, but they refused on the ground that they had to protect the capital. Considering their relationship with the 10th Division, I had expected it.

King Zeurasia started to give a long speech about joint training in front of us. Next to him, Prince Zeland stood stiffly. Seeing the Prince so stiff was quite amusing.

But I had to agree that the Prince’s bearing had improved. Even though he was standing next to the King, he didn’t seem out of place.

“The real training will begin tomorrow! I look forward to your hard work!”

At the end of the King’s speech, Zackhart-sama who was also standing next to the King shouted, “Salute!” and we all gave a salute to the King.

The joint training was scheduled to last for the first time.

The itinerary of the first day, which was today,  was only a greeting from the King and an introduction. It was scheduled like that in case there was a division that was late. Fortunately, all divisions were able to arrive here as scheduled.

The real training will start tomorrow. Tomorrow’s itinerary was training with the 10 Knights Crossbow and the long spear.

I didn’t have any plans for the rest of the day.

Until yesterday, I’ve been going to places to prepare for the joint training, so today I wanted to go home early and relax, but things didn’t always go as planned.

Among the veteran knights of the 6th Division, he was the only one who wasn’t demoted and he also became the pillar of support of the 6th Division during its reconstruction. Additionally, he was one of the central figures who led the construction of the new roads between the capital and Gedland.

He was also the new Commander of the 6th Division.

When selecting the new commander of 6th Division, initially there was a strong opinion that bringing someone from outside 6th Division would be better, but because of Fogard-san’s achievement of constructing the new road, ultimately he was chosen as the new Commander.

When Fogard-san introduced himself, Thor-sama was first to respond.

“I have heard the news. Fogard-dono, congratulations.”

“Thank you, Thor-dono,” After saying that, Fogard-san glanced briefly at Wickharlt.
