I have teory : After the princess said she want build another port in the empire…im believe that new port in several chapter ago after Gedland city under attack against 3 kingdom is Princess Ambition. Another reason is the empire not that much interested to join the campaign invading rudek to expand teritory.
The result enemy campaign should be like this Lifrea Holy will get rudek is capital, Gorber will get the Mining Site and Empire should be get the Gedland Port.

Actually, there’s no direct connection between sakusen and sakuri, since they both written differently, one with kanji, one with katakana. I’m pretty sure the author named him sakuri on purpose tho, like a pun name.

Tho I agree as a general, Wickharlt is too indecisive.
