Chapter 1: Preparation period

And as before, there were times when i was in a delicate state.

…only the first day.

It’s just impossible because she lost her power now, so maybe when she get her power back she can return me?

In other words…why don’t i just save this world?

With such a optimistic–I don’t think that i can support not having it– thought development, I was capable of resurrect.
……Of course, there is a possibility that I really can’t go back, but if that’s the case, it’s one more motive to try, that is because in this case, i have to live in this world as one of it’s inhabitants.
I don’t want to die.

So, first of all, I decided to enrich my base.

If i don’t act at night (+ if i don’t forget to sprinkle holy water), I will manage to survive somehow for the time being, so the first thing i have to do is aim for is a stable supply of food. Because you can’t even think straight when you’re hungry!
I can get a fair amount of nuts and fish, and recover enough SP, but that alone isn’t enough. Good food heals the heart.

Hunting rabbits in the woods… didn’t go well until I was able to make bows. That is because a rabbit is too quick. There were also deer and wild boars, but I didn’t even try to hunt they. Animals are non-active mobs that don’t do anything to you unless you do something to them.
But I captured the cow and chicken that was the purpose of the exploration in first place. By raising them, I was able to get eggs and milk once a day. The culinary repertoire has been expanded.
I also found rock salt, but it’s not infinite, so I’d like to aim for the sea in the near future.

In parallel, I created a field and planted the seeds and seedlings that i got from the forest and grasslands. This will give me wheat and a variety of vegetables. Someday I also want to plant fruit trees and have a stable supply of fruit.

In addition, obtaining fertilizer… Regarding the automation of the toilet, I used the kobold’s magic stone that I defeated on the first day, without hesitation.

In second, I decided to improve my living environment.
Even if you have the ingredients, you can’t cook good food without facilities, so i installed a stove.
I would also like to make pots and pans, but unfortunately I haven’t gotten any metal yet.
The only things I can do are grilling food with wooden skewers, stewing it in clay pots or steaming it. By the way, rice is not available yet.

I discovered cotton, so i cultivated and increased it, Using the cotton i was able to graduate from the straw bed. A comfortable sleep is also very important.
I haven’t been able to get a lot of cotton yet, so i’m not leveling it fast, but i would like to increase my sewing skill level and improve the quality of my clothes in the future.
Also, because i was capable of make a string from the cotton, i made a bow.
The bow was created by creating thread from cotton, and because animals can be now hunted, i obtained hides.

What about increasing production facilities for item creation? hmm?
…I can’t do that yet.
The workbench is enough for creating leather equipment and compounding wound medicines, and there aren’t enough materials to start blacksmithing and alchemy.
For now i have no choice but to raise various skill levels while looking for materials…

While doing various things like this and that, i eventually have to face that fact.

……Magic stones are needed to create items, so i have to defeat monsters no matter what.
Since I couldn’t prepare a enough quality equipment (Leather equipment was enough, but because of the harsh experience on the first day, I ended up wanting more quality than that.), So i decided to create a simple trap first.

It’s a pitfall.

Haha, I’m a Miko, roughly digging the soil is a piece of cake! so I dug a hole about two meters deep around the base, buried a few wooden stakes in it, and covered it with grass.
It’s just a pitfall, but it’s effective against goblins and kobolds who aren’t smart. Even if a wooden stake can’t defeat them, i can poke them from above the pit with a stone spear. And in the morning, starting with the magic stones, various materials can be collected. Except for the material part, the monster body disappears in the morning, so there is no need to clean the pit. But for a while, the need to see a graphic image couldn’t be avoided

As the number of magic stones obtained increased, the holy water spraying was automated. Actually I would like to make an item with a higher rank than holy water, but it’s still a long way from being able to create it.
The mechanism is simple. I just created a moat around the base, drew water from the river with magic stones, created a water flow, and made it to periodically mix with holy water.
Now the base can be defended even if I’m not stationed there.

I Created knives from monster claws and fangs. Prepared a good quality equipment even if it is just leather. Stocked up enough wound medicine and food in the item box, and the return stone is also completed.
And about a month after I came to Asteria.

I decided to go on a trip.

No matter what i want to do, i will need new materials… and above all.

I miss people…!
