Lin Lan’s cheeks were hot and she wanted to pull his hand back, but today he was stubborn and held it even tighter.

Han Qingsong took a deep look at her and seeing her fair cheeks slowly turning red like flowers blooming in his sight, he let go of her hand, allowing her to withdraw.

He said, “They’ll separate after the Chinese New Year.”

“That’s a good thing since they can finally live in peace,” Lin Lan was also happy for Eldest Sister-in-law Han. Finally, she didn’t have to be tied to the old lady and torture each other.

Han Qingsong briefly explained that the old lady wanted to stay with Eldest Brother Han, so she separated Second Brother Han’s family and left the eldest  behind with her. In the end, in order to prevent his mother from being wronged, Haotian wanted to separate the family even further. Of course, Old Man Han and Old Lady Han were not happy since he was the eldest grandson after all. Moreover, without getting married, how could he stand on his own? The old lady said in a fit of anger that it was fine to split as long as the household registration was not divided since the work points would still be at home.

She felt that as long as the head of the household disagreed, the children would not be separated and the brigade would not force it either.

At any rate, she just wanted to do everything in her power to go against Eldest Sister-in-law Han’s wishes.

Naturally, Han Qingsong wouldn’t sit idly by upon hearing this and went to chat with Han Yongfang, who agreed to his methods. After all, it was Chinese New Year’s Eve, so moving there and then would result in them being deemed a laughingstock. At the very least, they would have to wait until the 8th to move out.

The children were cooking dumplings as Han Qingsong walked into the east room with his arms around Lin Lan’s shoulders, “Haotian has grown up.”

Lin Lan nodded, “He’s a good boy. No matter what the Eldest Brother says, he has to give his work points to the Eldest Sister-in-law,” After all, if there was no divorce, it was impossible for the husband to not support the family and it was unrealistic to give it all to the old lady. Both Haotian and Gumi were underage as well.
