Maisui took out the tailoring and sewing book she bought and turned to the page she liked. “Look, when we have cloth in the summer, we can make a pleated skirt like this. Gumi looked at it and saw that there was still lard in it, “Third Aunt, how can this be called simple? I used to eat dishes like this during the Chinese New Year.”
Lin Lan smiled and said, “Don’t worry, if you work hard after the separation, you can also eat meals like this.”
Gumi left happily.
The family sat down to eat as Lin Lan asked Sanwang to put away the car and frog. The last thing she wanted to happen was for him to distract Xiaowang from eating dinner.
Maisui smiled and said, “Mom, after we split up the family, my Eldest Aunt and Elder Sister(4) seem much more comfortable than before and are smiling all the time now.”
