Lin Lan liked to listen to him read. He was precise, cadenced and his voice was magnetic and deep, which was very pleasant to listen to.
However, it’s a common problem among people of this era to mess up words with similar pronunciations.
For example, when it comes to the word ‘chose’, he would always read it as ‘cho-zay’ and Lin Lan would repeat it in her mind, “You cho-zay me, I cho-zay you, we cho-zay each other…” With that in her head, she would start to laugh uncontrollably(1).

Han Qingsong glared at her and said, “Don’t laugh.”
Her cheeks were red and her posture was sluggish. Because she had a fever, tears were about to flow from her eyes as if she was drunk. He was entirely speechless just looking at her and the atmosphere around them started to become a bit sparked.
