Strict Wife Of The ’70s Manages The Household - Chapter 655
Sanwang became even more silent after hearing her words. He felt that his Elder Sister was lying to him.
Maisui drove them away and accompanied Xiaowang to draw pictures at the dinner table.
Sanwang returned to the east room and packed up his belongings. He left a little whistle frog and a broken car to Xiaowang and a comic book titled, ‘Wildfire Spring Wind Fighting Ancient City’ to Erwang, which he secretly hid. He put Maisui’s shuttlecock on her kang’s cabinet and a handkerchief that their mother had made for them each, to Dawang, since he couldn’t bring himself to use it.
He had nothing to leave to his parents, so he wrote a few words.
He stood in the east room and looked around the house where he lived. Then, he went to the west room to look at his parents’ clothes and bedding. After touching and kissing them, he wiped his tears and walked out while Maisui went to the toilet.
When he reached the gates, he turned around and resolutely tried to forget about this home. After looking back 3 times, he left reluctantly.
…
Maisui didn’t see Sanwang when she came back, so he asked Xiaowang about his whereabouts.
Xiaowang had been painting as a picture of their family of 7 formed on the paper. In the painting, Sanwang was grinning widely. He didn’t even notice that the three girls were here.
Maisui went outside to take a look, but he was not at the swings and wasn’t anywhere she could think of him being.
She was anxious and went to the brigade to call Lin Lan.
Lin Lan was in a meeting and heard that Sanwang was missing. She quickly asked Dong Huaihua and others to help look for him before asking a few people if they knew where the child had gone.
They searched around but couldn’t find him. At this time, all the adults in the village went to work and there was practically no one else who stayed home. There were a few children, but they stated that they hadn’t seen Sanwang.
Lin Lan was extremely anxious. At this time, Xiaowang ran out holding a piece of paper, “There’s a letter from Third Brother!”
Lin Lan quickly took it and saw that there were several hyphens and pinyin errors on it, but it read: Mother, I love you. Sanwang is gone, so I will never cause you any trouble again.
Lin Lan’s heart suddenly ached as if it was being pulled by something.
Dong Huaihua didn’t care about anything else as she mobilised everyone in the village to look for Sanwang.
When Xiaowang heard that his Third Brother was missing, he cried sadly, “Mother, mother, little Third Brother had probably gone looking for…his biological mother.”
Lin Lan was stunned, “What biological mother? Am I not his mother? Where else was he going to find his mother?”
What does this child think about all day long? I really want to open his head up and take a look.
Dong Huaihua and others were dumbfounded after hearing this, “Adults coax children like this, but nobody really takes it seriously. We go out and find him now— a child can’t get too far. “
Lin Lan asked Maisui to look after Xiaowang while she went to find Dawang. The place where he worked was relatively close to the village.
When he heard that Sanwang was missing, Dawang frowned and said, “Don’t worry, I’ll look for him.”
