When the ‘bedtime exercise’ was done, the snake casserole was almost stewed to completion.
The delicious aroma filled the garden, wafting into the air, ever so tempting.

Han Qingsong went to get her some pancakes, a bowl, chopsticks and a spoon,. He handed her the chopsticks and scooped a spoonful of soup. Once he blew on it to cool it down, he handed it to her mouth.
Lin Lan took a sip of the soup, “Wow! It’s really tasty!” The original earthy smell of the snake meat had been dissipated by the seasonings of onion and ginger, leaving only an aromatic scent left. Oh, how she wanted to just swallow her entire tongue along to savour the taste!
She first picked up a piece of snake meat for Han Qingsong before proceeding to start eating herself. The snake meat was delicate and tender. Though it tasted a bit like chicken, it was much more tender and juicy! How divine!
She asked Han Qingsong to eat it quickly as he started to drink the soup with the bowl that she used.
Lin Lan grabbed another piece of meat for him, “Take the chopsticks, let’s eat together.”
At this time, Sanwang, who was originally a sleeping log in the east room, suddenly turned over as he straddled Dawang with one leg. He then hugged his eldest brother like an octopus and smacked his mouth, “So fragrant, so fragrant! Waiter, another set of pig’s trotters!” He opened his mouth and nibbled on Dawang’s shoulder.
