Strict Wife Of The ’70s Manages The Household - Chapter 841
Although Han Qingsong did not explain the details to Lin Lan, he did not perfunctorily deal with Liu Chuncai either. As soon as he went to work the next day, he handed the matter over to Sun Zhuowen and asked him to go with Luo Haicheng. One of them was a scholar and the other a warrior; one was responsible for the interactions and the other was responsible for intimidation, which would lead to adequate force being taken if necessary.
Luo Haicheng was pretty intimidating and scary whenever he got angry.
Sun Zhuowen and Luo Haicheng did not disappoint as they solved the problem on the same day. The man was locked up and starved for a few days before he was given a few beatings during meal times in order to intimidate him.
Basically, he was almost disabled.
After that, he was asked to do all sorts of work in the village in accordance to making him work 365 days a year to keep him busy.
Once he was home, the Women’s Director and village cadres were arranged to stroll around his house twice a day in the morning and evening. As long as something about the children seemed out of place, they were going to arrest him again. The committee also informed the neighbours that if they saw him intimidating, hurting or posing a threat to the kids, they were allowed to gang up on him and interfere. Those who made reports against his wrongdoings were also going to be promptly rewarded.
This scared the man a lot as he agreed to all the odd jobs that the village arranged for him to handle. As long as he could leave the house and not show his face around, he was going to do so at all costs.
This wasn’t the only solution either. As long as someone was in charge, cowards were always more restrained. After all, the father did not appear vicious and was as honest as a mirror on the outside. However, all he knew to do at home was beat up his wife and kids. And once his wife was dead, he would establish no limits with his children and abuse them further.
No, the situation was much better under the control of the brigade. Although he still cursed and yelled, at the very least, he was no longer venting out his anger on the children.
Later, Lin Lan complained, “What are their brigade cadres doing? They normally didn’t care much either.”
She didn’t believe that despite living together in a village with so many older people who liked to spout rumours, how could no one have realised what was going on? To be frank, in such an open community in the countryside, neighbours would hear even the slightest noise occurring in someone’s house.
Han Qingsong told her not to be angry and touched her back, “We will strengthen the public security’s education and patrols of each brigade. On that note, we would also like to ask for your Propaganda Team’s cooperation.”
