Strict Wife Of The ’70s Manages The Household - Chapter 962
When Qiaoqiao and Haonan stayed in the evening, she also kept Xiaoxin for a few days so that he could get closer to Sanwang and the others, getting rid of his little problems.
Xiaoxin was already 8 years old, which meant that it was the time for him to begin to stop being clingy to his mother and to play with other children. There was no problem for him to leave Tang Hehua’s side. In the end, he had fun like Haonan and wished he could stay at his Fourth Aunt’s house forever because it was so fun!
The 15th day of the first lunar month was the day to visit relatives. After the 15th day, it was considered the end of the first lunar month and the busy work began.
In the morning, Lin Lan took the children to make some glutinous rice balls, feeding them well. Then, she sent Dawang to send Xiaoxin off whilst Erwang walked Haonan and Qiaoqiao back home.
Maisui went to play with the girls whereas Sanwang also brought Xiaowang out to play. Suddenly, Lin Lan was the only one left at home.
Without the chattering children, no longer shrieking and shouting, Lin Lan suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.
It didn’t feel right to be in a house filled with silence.
She stood in the main hall and forgot what she was going to do for a while, her mind more than a little confused. Oh my god, am I going to have Alzheimer’s disease already?
No, this is just a holiday syndrome. The originally lively and bustling atmosphere suddenly became quiet, which made her suddenly feel slightly uncomfortable, along with a bit of loss and emptiness in her heart. She had this problem in her previous life as well. She liked to be lively with her best friends, but after the holidays, everyone returned to their own life tracks and things abruptly became quiet. She would be at a loss for a moment and reluctant to leave.
Sometimes it’s okay to cry, but now she had a warm home and didn’t need to cry alone.
It’s inevitable to be a little hypocritical, but she couldn’t help but complain about herself.
Han Qingsong happened to come back from Han Yongfang’s house. When he entered the house, he saw Lin Lan standing in the hall in a daze. Her dazed look made her originally clear eyes covered with a layer of moisture, hiding the layers of starlight in them, making her appear confused and sad.
Sad?
Han Qingsong didn’t understand why she was like this, she was fine in the morning.
He strode into the house, took her into his arms and touched her head, “What’s wrong?”
Lin Lan hugged his waist tightly, put her face on his chest and shook her head. Despite her efforts, her voice sounded like she was crying, “Nothing.” The loss in her heart had been filled and the depressing emotions had a lid to cover them now. She was not going to be sad anymore.
He lifted her chin and stared at the wetness in the corners of her eyes, “Nothing?”
She smiled embarrassedly, but a tear slipped from her eye and slid down her cheek.
Just as she was about to wipe it away, he had already lowered his head and sucked the tear away before starting to kiss her passionately, leaving her no room to escape. His actions squeezed the sadness and affectation in her heart into bubbles that disappeared.
“Third, Third Brother…” Lin Lan panted, trying to remind him that it was broad daylight and they had to be careful of approaching visitors.
But Han Qingsong refused to stop, “…Mmhm?”
He just wanted to continue kissing her until she was weak and limp in his arms. He wanted to keep kissing her cheeks until they were as beautiful as roses, until her skin was filled with warm and intoxicating colors.
