The Consequences of Having a Master-Servant Relationship With a Yandere After Reincarnation - Side Story 5
T/N: I was dumb and actually forgot to translate the previous chapters’ titles properly, so I fixed it.
Side Story 5 – A Servant’s Defeat
Originally, I was a mere victim, but since the circumstances changed, I became an accomplice to Alicia.
After being scolded by McLachlan-sensei, Alicia’s usual bravado disappeared as she began to cry. Her whole atmosphere turned somber.
“I’ve always told you to not bother other people!”
“But…! It’s sensei’s fault…! It’s because you only ever looked at that Baron Morton’s daughter…”
I don’t think getting cuddly in front of other students like this is a good thing to do. Though, I guess this is the only way to calm Alicia down now. McLachlan-sensei said his apology to her for scolding her while patting her head.
“Miss Aldington, I’m sorry for the trouble we caused, and Mister Carlyle, I’m sorry for her clinginess toward you.”
He apologized in his usual polite speech.
“No, it’s fine, sensei, don’t mind it.”
“…Ojou-sama?”
Ojou-sama looked up at me while putting her hand over her mouth, covering her nasty smile.
“Don’t you think that you were a little bit carried away, my dear?”
* * *
According to Rona…
Alicia Campbell has an older childhood friend who she has been in love with since her childhood. The other day, she got engaged to the same childhood friend. However, one day she found out that her fiance was giving more attention to a girl other than herself. That girl was Leila Morton.
As soon as her name came out, I realized that her fiance was not romantically connected with that vulgar woman in any kind of shape or form. Though it’s true that the vulgar woman was good-looking, so it was justified that Alicia would treat her like a rival.
Then the simple-minded Count’s daughter racked her brain. ‘How could I get my fiance to pay more attention to me?’ Then she decided that if her fiance were to see her hanging out with another man, he might feel jealous and pay more attention to her.
Then the big question came up. Who would she choose as her partner?
Unfortunately, her attitude was generally perceived as horrible, so even if she asked other people for help, no one would ever help her.
She kept thinking and eventually came to a solution. It was to pressure commoners, who wouldn’t be able to oppose her, to help her. Her pride was too high to actually ask for help from commoners, so she laid a honeytrap and tried to make them fall in love with her instead. She tried it on me, but of course, I was unaffected, rather, I was annoyed with her more than infatuated.
Then Rona came in and suggested that I should make a deal with her.
“You are feeling pent up because you couldn’t do anything that you wanted to do, aren’t you? That’s why don’t you think it’ll be fun to make our cute senpai feels jealous?”
He said.
Well, he had a point. Ojou-sama was the type to keep her mouth shut when she felt jealous and I wanted to see her crying in jealousy. I wouldn’t mind even if she were to cut my head off if she feels jealous, when I said that out loud, Rona took some distance from me for some reason.
Then, I told Alicia that I knew about her circumstances and offered to help her. I’ve been working with her for a few days, but, contrary to my expectations, Ojou-sama hadn’t reacted too much about it.
Since I was doing this right in front of her face, I couldn’t go out my way to get in Ojou-sama’s way whenever she was talking to another man, also I couldn’t just ask her to hang out together. The worst of all, there wasn’t any semblance of jealousy on her face.
Truly, the loss outweighed the gain.
“So you knew everything?”
“Obviously. Her fiance also knew that she dragged us into this.”
Apparently, she already talked and apologized to Alicia’s fiance… McLachlan-sensei.
No wonder.
“I noticed that you’ve been looking at me with a pitying gaze lately.”
“And that is correct, I have been.”
Now that I think about it. She’s both a model student and a noble. She should have a good relationship with her teachers. The other side would treat her carefully since she is both a model student and a daughter of a Viscount. Also, her relationship with Leila Morton would automatically make McLachlan-sensei keep his guard up when dealing with her.
That was so careless of me.
“My childish lover wanted to be mean and make me jealous. You’re doing such a cute thing, what an adorable boy.”
“Adorable…”
“Hm? Are you angry? What rights do you have to be angry now? You, my servant, after trying to one-up on me like that? What do you think, my servant?”
I felt a shiver run through my spine.
This scene looks so unfamiliar to me. This is the first time I’ve seen her laughing like this. Even though I’ve never seen it before, but my instincts are screaming.
This is not good. Not good. Not good. In her face, there isn’t just jealousy. She has an indescribable smile on her face as if she’s enjoying herself while relieving her anger. It’s creepy, scary…
“Ashley? Why are you backing down?”
“I think you should look in the mirror, you’ll understand.”
My instincts are telling me to not approach her right now.
“Come closer, Ashley.”
“I have to refuse that request.”
“You have no right to refuse. This is an order, Ashley.”
No way…
This is the first time she ever gave me an order, there’s no way I could disobey her, no matter how dangerous it is. As I slowly approached her, Ojou-sama suddenly clung to my arm as she lost her patience. She was still smiling as she looked up at me.
“Let’s change places. Miss Campbell, sensei, please have a nice day. I hope I won’t have to go through something like this again, since, I’m somewhat of a petty person.”
As expected, everyone also felt it instinctively. The two people she addressed nodded repeatedly while the other students around us, including the Randolph brothers, moved away from us.
* * *
She brought me to the courtyard, thankfully. Even though this place is deserted, it’s still better than a locked room. The current Ojou-sama is so scary that I won’t be surprised if she would actually try to kill me.
Ojou-sama sat down on a bench by the flowerbed and motioned for me to stand in front of her.
“It’s weird. Ashley, you’re supposed to be much smarter than me, but you are surprisingly forgetful aren’t you?”
She reached out her hand and I bent down to follow its movement. Her slender fingers slowly caressed my throat.
“Didn’t I tell you that if you ever betrayed me, I might have to cut this part of your body out?”
“I didn’t betray you…”
“Right, it was merely a childish prank that you attempted. But, didn’t I tell you many times to value your life more? What would you have done if I’d been tricked and ended up killing you for real? Putting your life in line for a prank like that, I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
In my whole life, I’ve never seen her be this terrifying. Usually, even when she was angry, the worst thing she would do is make a racket like a monkey.
“Ah, could it be…”
Suddenly, her gaze turned sharp.
“Did you think that when I said I would kill you out of jealousy, I was joking?”
“…”
It was true. I thought that she said it as a joke at that time and my memories were tricking me otherwise.
But now, I’m totally convinced.
“I’m a villainess, you know? I hate to be bullied since that’s the thing that I’m supposed to do.”
“Like what you said before…? You told me that this world was following some kind of fictional plotline.”
I was supposed to be close with Morton-senpai while Ojou-sama would abuse and bully me to get in the way between me and Morton-senpai.
I never wished to fall in love with that vulgar woman even if it kills me, and I’m not interested in anyone but my own master, so I dismissed the idea of that world even existing.
“That’s right. That’s why I feel the need to treat you a little bit harshly.”
“…Please go easy on me…”
I’m repenting. I won’t do something like that anymore.
“Then, show me your loyalty.”
“Should I shave my hair for you?”
“If you do that, I won’t speak to you for a year. Show me your sincerity.”
Ojou-sama took off her shoes and her navy blue-colored socks. She doesn’t wear tights today, probably because the weather had been warmer recently.
“How about kneel down and lick my feet?”
“Is that a request?”
“It’s an order.”
Could it be… is this the actual reason why she stopped wearing tights? Or am I just overthinking things? Still, this feels so improper. I’ve had perverted thoughts about her before, but… I’ve never thought the day when I would be given an order like this would ever come.
I always felt like I’m the same kind of person as her, I prefer to be tormented than to torment someone, though, if I were to say that out loud, she would certainly look at me with disdainful eyes starting from tomorrow.
“I understand.”
“Mhm.”
It isn’t like this punishment is painful or anything. Rather, I’m happy that she actually ordered me to do it. Whether it’s to kiss or lick, I would do it.
I got down on one knee and lifted her white leg. Obviously, this is the first time that I’ve ever done something like this, so I don’t know what to do. In the end, I press my lips lightly on her foot.
Just as I did…
I was kicked in the face.
“Kyaaa!!”
“What is it?!”
“Pervert!!”
“You were the one who told me to do it!”
I don’t understand her.
Where did her terrifying smile go? She’s now backing down while hugging her legs on the bench while blushing. There’re tears on her face.
Seriously, I don’t understand her.
“Why didn’t you refuse it?!”
“Seriously, what exactly do you want me to do?”
Why would you even make an order that you’d want to be rejected?
“I mean, it’s not my fault! If you were to just apologize, I would have backed down! But you’ve never apologized, so I didn’t know when to stop!”
“I thought you were just trying to say whatever you wanted.”
“I am not that horrible as a person! It’s just I’ve always wanted to say those villainous lines!”
Even though she did make me feel excited when she acted like that.
“…Do you have something to say to me?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Ashley.”
“…Please forgive me for all my mistakes.”
Ojou-sama giggled as she got off the bench and crouched down.
“I’m sorry, did it hurt?”
She laughed while she was caressing my cheek.
“Is there something funny on my face?”
“No, not really. It’s just, even though I regret kicking you like that, but I also wonder if you’d be less popular with the girls if I were to make a scar on your face.”
“Please stop, that’s scary.”
“I’m just joking.”
I wondered about that too, sometimes. If Ojou-sama’s pretty face was scarred, no men would flock to her. But in her case, there would be a possibility that they would be attracted to her personality instead. Besides, I love her face, so hurting her face isn’t something I’m able to do.
“What if it swells.”
“It won’t. Ojou-sama’s attacks won’t hurt me.”
“I might be weaker than you, but I still kicked you as hard as I could, you know?”
“Was that really the hardest kick you could do? I’m worried now.”
She’s way too weak.
“Girls don’t need to be that strong. Leave me alone.”
“Alicia would beg to differ.”
Because of her strength, it was hard to escape her grip after she caught me.
“Comparing her to other girls should be the last thing you should do. Also, you made me feel left out. I mean, you’ve been calling her Alicia, but I’m still ‘Ojou-sama’ to you.”
She is the same year as me, also, calling her that was inevitable.
“Ce…cille…?”
“That sounds so awkward, I hate it.”
“…Cecille…”
“Yes?”
“You might think that I’m cute now, but tomorrow, I’m gonna make your lunch for you. Master sent me some ingredients the other day.”
Though, I’m sure that Ojou-sama won’t eat it.
“…What is it?”
“Goat meat.”
“Why am I the one getting punished when you are the one who is in the wrong?”
Every time goat meat was served at a meal, she would push it into my plate. Like I previously stated, we know each other’s likes and dislikes very well.
By the way.
According to Ojou-sama, who had talked with McLachlan-sensei, apparently, he was conscious of Alicia as a woman.
And according to Rona’s investigation, it seems that their relationship is going well.
