The Legitimate Daughter Doesn’t Care! - Chapter 20

After Zhen Longtao sat down, he noticed that Xu Xinduo’s hand was placed beside her. He extended the back of his hand inadvertently touched Xu Xinduo’s fingers before proceeding to move closer.

Xu Xinduo was more active than Zhen Longtao as she directly held Zhen Longtao’s hand. Her fingers were slender and looked petite.

Zhen Longtao couldn’t help but feel happy. This bumpkin couldn’t resist the temptation, after all.

Yet as soon as the teacher turned around to write on the blackboard, Xu Xinduo twisted Zhen Longtao’s hand, making his arm bend at a strange angle. Zhen Longtao subconsciously retracted his hand to relieve the pain.

Just when he was about to scream, Xu Xinduo kicked him.

Optional courses had small desks, large enough for a book to be placed on the desk itself. The chairs were small and round too, making it easy for Xu Xinduo to kick.

Zhen Longtao fell to the ground. He turned around and cursed out of agony, “F*ck, god damn you…”

Xu Xinduo looked at him suspiciously and exclaimed, “Ah! What happened to you?!”

Zhen Longtao swore that this was the most feminine sentence Xu Xinduo had said since he met her. Although it didn’t change the fact that she was a b*tch to him, he felt that she really knows how to appear coquettish.

There really seemed to be no one else like her.

Seeing Xu Xinduo’s act that amplified her ‘green tea’ skills (1), he was rendered speechless.

(T/N: The ‘green tea’ here refers to a woman who appears kind and humble in front of others, but sinister and cunning in reality. Often a term to replace the word b*tch as well)

Xu Xinduo saw the teacher looking at them, so she pointed at Zhen Longtao and said, “He fell down all of a sudden. Shall we take him to the infirmary?” (2)

(T/N: Note that in the above sentence, she spoke in English instead of Chinese. That way, the following would make sense)

Since it was Xu Xinduo who spoke, there must be an abnormality as she usually didn’t talk much. However, whenever she opened her mouth, she was up to some mischief.

This utter green tea woman is absolutely horrifying!

The foreign teacher asked something in English, but  Zhen Longtao wasn’t able to understand it.

Foreign teachers didn’t speak Chinese and often spoke English at a very fast pace. Zhen Longtao wasn’t from the International Class, so he couldn’t even keep up with the teacher. 

In class especially, some of the terms were unfamiliar and new so it almost seemed like he was reading ancient scriptures.

Zhen Longtao timidly got up and intended to sit back at his place again. Then, he saw Xu Xinduo staring at him with an evil grin plastered on her face. He suddenly became terrified.

He waved his hand, indicating that he was fine, then moved to the end of the classroom and sat there. After a little more than ten minutes, he skipped the class altogether.

After Zhen Longtao left, the other students who watched everything unfold suddenly sneered. 

An unfamiliar student that wasn’t familiar with Xu Xinduo and wasn’t from the International Class Four either started to murmur, “This transfer student is very so cool.”

“Super A.”

“I really like her a lot…”

Wei Lan was also in this classroom. He heard numerous whispers around him, “I like the types like her the best.”

“As long as someone looks good, you would like her.”

“You summed it up very well.”

Lou Xu lived on campus and had dinner at school.

After having dinner, she went to the single bedroom building. When she reached the floor where her room was, she saw Xu Xinduo standing at her room’s door.

Her room was quite far away from the staircase, but Lou Xu could see at a glance that it was Xu Xinduo. At a staggering height of 175cm and a pair of slender legs, she was easily conspicuous.

She tensed up for a moment and retraced her steps to return to the corridor. She took out her mobile phone, opened the front camera and straightened her hair according to her reflection.

After confirming that there was no problem with her looks, she walked back to Xu Xinduo and asked her, “Were you waiting for me?”

Xu Xinduo smiled after seeing her. She nodded and asked, “Can I come in? I’ve been waiting for half an hour.”

Lou Xu hurriedly took out the key to open the door and said with a little tinge of apology, “I usually like to chat with my friends after dinner. I didn’t expect that you would wait for me, but what can I do for you?”
