Ch.111 I’m A Good Child (2)

“[Faint smile then goodbye expression] Heh. Re***d, the table had changed twice today already. The studio is gaining fans out of this!”
“Screw you and the fans. They’re just a studio. You make it sound like they’re actors!”
Xiao Yu scrolled through the comments. Xiao Ruoguang saw this and asked, “Mommy, what are you looking at?”
“A fight.” Xiao Yu said.
“What fight?” Ji Yu was also curious.
Xiao Yu explained, “The users online are trying to act like Sherlock Holmnes and the police. They’re targeting this event where donations were made out of ulterior motives and not due to charity. They’re arguing over whether the studio is actually trying to be charitable or being selfish. They’re firm on their own beliefs and don’t accept any refutes.”
Ji Xuan was speechless. “What sort of explanation is that?”
Xiao Ruoguang and Ji Yu looked confused. Xiao Yu replied, “Then what should I say? That it’s cyberbullying?”
“Okay.” Xiao Yu patted the two children’s heads and said, “When you don’t understand mommy’s explanation, that means you should ask me again when you guys grow up.”
“Oh, I see.” Ji Yu nodded. “So I’ll know what it means after I grow up? I understand so I won’t ask you when I grow up.”
Ji Xuan was speechless. What happens to a child’s innate curiosity? You’re different from how I was when I was little.
Ji Xuan silently criticized Ji Yu, “Whenever you’re with daddy, you always make sure to grill everything. You even threw the colored glass male eagle on my table because you were mad.”
Ji Yu said angrily, “I didn’t. I’m a good child. You’re framing me.” Then she threw herself in Xiao Yu’s arms. “Mommy, don’t believe daddy. I’m a good child.”
Xiao Yu patted her head. “Of course I…”
Before she could finish, the car was pulled to an emergency stop and then bang. She hugged her two children instinctively but because the shock was too strong, she and the children fell forward.
Ji Yu cried out loud. Xiao Yu got startled and Ji Xuan immediately turned to ask, “Little Yu, where does it hurt?”

It was unclear if Xiao Ruoguang bumped into anywhere but he didn’t cry. He reached over to pat Ji Yu. “Sister, don’t cry. Sister, don’t cry. I’ll blow your booboos away.”

Ji Yu cried out loud. “Daddy, my hand hurts.”
Ji Xuan immediately pulled the door open and then the back door. He hugged Ji Yu and said, “Don’t be scared. Daddy will take you to the hospital now.”
Then…Ji Yu cried louder.
Xiao Yu cursed, “Are you sure you’re coaxing a child like this?”
Ji Xuan continued, “…What about you? Are you okay? Did Little Guang bump into anywhere?” Ji Xuan patted Ji Yu and then looked at Xiao Yu. He felt a bit more comforted seeing that she was okay.
Xiao Ruoguang shook his head within the shadow of the car. “Little Guang is fine. Sister cried.”
Ji Xuan exclaimed then, “That’s good. Sister will stop crying in a bit. We’re going to the hospital with her.”
Xiao Ruoguang nodded. Ji Xuan then looked at Ji Yu’s hand. He wanted to pull her sleeves when Uncle Lin got out of the car.
“Boss, sorry. I didn’t expect the car to suddenly change paths and come over. I should’ve driven slower.” Uncle Lin was also dumbstruck.
Two people also came down in the car ahead of them. The woman walked over angrily.
“Damn you guys. Do you guys know how to drive? Look at my forehead. There’s a bruise. I still have work tomorrow!”
Ji Xuan was already really angry, yet this woman just had to get him angrier. Ji Xuan looked coldly at her, his voice icy, “What did you say? Repeat it.”
The woman’s voice got stuck right then.
Another woman came over and said, “Hey, can you guys be reasonable?! You guys crashed into our car!”
Uncle Lin exclaimed coldly, “What are you guys talking about? Do you guys know how to drive? You guys didn’t even put on the indicator light when you guys are changing pathways. You guys got it easy that I only crashed into you guys.” Even the gentle Uncle Lin became angry at their attitude.
“Hey, it’s Yu Rouxi!”

“Ahhhh, it’s her. It’s really her!”

“There’s a bruise on her head. She looks so pitiful.”
There were more and more people gathering around to watch. Some started taking out their phones to record.
Ji Xuan looked at Uncle Lin and he understood, starting to stop the people taking videos.
“Stop recording, stop recording. You’re infringing on our right to portrait.”
Ji Xuan had carried Ji Yu inside the passenger seat and closed the door when he saw someone taking out their phone. He rarely revealed himself to the public and even more, never let Ji Yu either.
Therefore, he hurriedly put Ji Yu inside the car when he saw people taking pictures.
After that, he called the company to have Ban Zhenye handle the situation. Xiao Yu understood wealthy people’s worries so she didn’t say anything, but she was still really angry that the children got hurt.
“How come we’re not allowed?”
The passersby said unhappily. Uncle Lin was a bit more comforted seeing that Ji Xuan had gotten inside. He just did his best to stop people from recording.
Yan Siya just found out from the driver that Yu Rouxi had gotten to put on the indicator light for the car, causing this accident. Even more, it got crashed by the side. It was their full responsibility.
Yan Siya was furious. She just learned how to drive and chose today to drive out. Well look now. She got into an accident!
But no matter what, they had to resolve the situation. Yan Siya said, “Let’s resolve this in private. How much money? We’ll pay for it.”
Then she saw Xiao Yu pushing the door open and kicking Yu Rouxi.
Ji Xuan: …heh.
