The Struggles of Being A Mother of Villains - Chapter 115
Ch.115 Apology (1)
The users were mainly concerned with Xiao Yu’s recovery. Those that felt sorry for the children were all celebrating. They left comments and blessed them. There were comments having Xiao Yu take care of the children while other users were watching the show and shocked by how rich Xiao Yu was. They were exclaiming for her to provide for them.
As media reporters, Xiong Yibo and Ye Jing were unwilling to accept this. They contacted some friends and bought some bots. Then, they overtook Weibo.
“We can only see some money but who knows whether she replaced them with a newspaper or not?”
“That’s right. We can’t even see them clearly.”
“Right. If she has a lot of money, why did she live in an ordinary hospital ward? Why didn’t she have the money to treat herself?”
In short, they dug all sorts of pits. Many users did end up questioning the validity. If she really did have money, why did she act so tragically?
The pictures of her being skinny like bones didn’t seem fake either. The children looked pitiful too. Their clothes were ragged. This was also true.
But before they could change sides, the users’ faces were slapped again…
“Hahaha. Look at that sofa. It’s worth 200,000 for the entire set.”
“That’s one of the better ones. Check the grape wine first.”
“I did. Being poor has limited my imagination.”
“Damn. A bottle of grape wine was worth nearly 500,000…”
“Heh. I’d never believe that people are born equal.”
“If that’s the case, everything in the picture is really expensive. The decorative item by the corner…”
“I shouldn’t have checked the price [cry].”
“So why did she live in an ordinary hospital ward? That’s the hobby of a wealthy person?”
Ji Xuan read the comments on the phone and then at people carrying boxes of money inside the car. He was speechless.
Xiao Yu lifted her chin and exclaimed, “How is it? Aren’t I smart?”
Ji Xuan laughed dryly and then entered the room indifferently. Xiao Yu followed him and said, “My physician called me and asked me how I recovered that quickly.”
“What did you say?” Ji Xuan tugged his tie. When he went to work, the department manager came and asked whether he was going to terminate the collaboration with Yu Rouxi.
Ji Xuan naturally nodded. He didn’t have a good impression of her so he fired her right then. The department manager didn’t dare to say anything. He nodded and left.
But today, he received Yu Rouxi’s call twice and her manager, Yan Siya’s call, six times. In the end, her agency called three times.
“I told him that I ate a lot of seafood products.”
Ji Xuan froze before furrowing his brows and asking her, “What…does this have to do with anything?”
Xiao Yu tilted her head and revealed a cute smile, answering as if it was the obvious answer, “To make up for calcium.”
Ji Xuan was speechless.
Because the meeting took longer than usual, he had Xu Haotian pick up the two children. Ji Yu went to Yi Lanya’s place at the last moment so she came back a bit late.
The two walked in holding hands. They entered to see their father standing by the door, thinking while wearing a complicated expression.
“Daddy, what are you thinking?” Xiao Ruoguang walked to Ji Xuan and asked.
Ji Xuan replied, “I’m thinking about the relationship between calcium and being paralzyed.”
“Daddy, Teacher Yi said that her grandmother died today.” Ji Yu also walked over.
Ji Xuan was confused. “So?”
Ji Yu replied, “She looks too pitiful. Her grandmother died. I was going to ask her if she needs help.”
Ji Xuan’s heart trembled and said, “Don’t let your mother find out.”
Ji Yu shook her head and said, “I didn’t have the time to ask.”
Ji Xuan was bewildered. “Why?”
Ji Yu pointed at Xiao Ruoguang, criticizing, “The teacher just finished and before I could ask, brother replied with ‘oh’ and then dragged me away. I couldn’t even comfort the teacher…”
Xiao Ruoguang revealed a cute smile that made Ji Xuan’s heart soften. “Your brother is too young.”
Xiao Ruoguang pouted. “I’m not young. Her grandmother died, not mine. Why did she have to tell me that?”
Ji Yu froze before saying, “The teacher was telling me that.”
“But it’s not like your grandmother died. Why did she have to tell you?” Xiao Ruoguang refused to accept this.
Ji Yu froze before saying, “Because we’re good friends.”
He responded, “But you’re too young and you can’t attend the funeral.”
Ji Xuan didn’t know what to say.
Ji Yu furrowed her brows. “Daddy, I can’t go?”
Ji Xuan nodded.
Ji Yu asked, “Then the teacher just wanted to tell me that?”
