“Like a flower growing in the swamp. Not all the mud in the world could dull your beauty.” Shen Hu’s voice resonated from somewhere in the wall, and at the same time, cold water poured down.

“It seems it can’t stay still either.” Shen Hu’s tail twitched as she blocked the incendiary bullets that followed with her foxfire. Shen Hu, gritting her teeth, showed no sign of her usual reserve. It was painfully obvious that she was focusing all her attention on her sorcery.

“Shen Hu, how long would it take for your foxfire to reach maximum power?”

“What are you planning, mistress?”

“I’ll lure it away. That’s why I want you to stop for now!” Before Shen Hu could respond, Lisa jumped from the foxfire defensive shield. The typhoon reacted quickly and spewed fire with a roar, but Lisa jumped high and then crouched, running along the wall and closing the distance between her and the typhoon in a single leap.

“Ha!” Aiming for the typhoon’s eyes, she thrust her longsword straight.

“Don’t melt just yet, okay?” Gripping the handle of the foxfire-covered longsword, she slid underneath the typhoon’s torso, avoiding its front paws. “How about this!” Squeezing the handle tightly, she thrust the longsword upward from below, unleashing a superhuman force onto the typhoon, and blood splattered violently, running from the typhoon’s chin downward.

“Shen Hu, please!”

“With pleasure!”

She jumped back from the typhoon, which was roaring, and called Shen Hu, who was standing behind her.
