Another great novel pick by the translator. The FL is such an unreliable narrator but the story is entirely in her POV. She misses all the telltale signs but fortunately the readers don’t. The storyline is interesting too. But beware, you may get frustrated by the FL bc she really isn’t that smart but she tries to be scheming so she doesn’t have the same ending.

Okay, NOW the title makes sense.Most likely, the 'legitimate sister' was actually the future emperor hiding out as a girl to avoid getting killed (that sort of thing happened A LOT historically, and it's a fairly common subplot in this genre). After the "sister" "died" (aka faked her death and ascended the throne), he married Xi Xian and finally let his Yandere flag fly.
