Who Can Keep The Moon Private By Love - Chapter 1.2
Jiang Yi led a group of people and rushed to the hospital angrily.
He was playing cards with some people before. Today, he got lucky and won some money.
There was a bit of noise outside. Jiang Yi heard people say that a child got hit across the road. Jiang Yi subconsciously thought of his great son, Jiang Haoyue, and glanced at the time on the wall.
When Jiang Yi rushed out of the store, the ambulance had just left.
“Who the hell bumped into my child? Who?” Jiang Yi led his brother into the emergency room, giving the impression that he would beat him to death if he caught the offender.
Lu Yongfei sat in the chair in the corner, his brows furrowed and his expression depressed.
His hair is wet, and his coat is also soaked.
Seeing the child’s father was about to rush over to beat him, Lu Yongfei’s eyes were still in a trance.
A nurse at the hospital stopped Jiang Yi from hitting him.
“Sir, calm down. This place is a hospital, not a place for fighting and making trouble.”
After separating from the others, the nurse said to Jiang Yi, “Are you the little boy’s family? We are going to have surgery and need your signature.”
Jiang Yi glanced at the informed consent form, clenched his fists, and tried to hit on Lu Yongfei again.
“Amputation? What does this amputation mean?”
Lu Yongfei did not hide.
He has been an honest person for most of his life. If something like this happens, he feels worse than anyone else, and it is even harder to argue with Jiang Yi at this juncture.
“Brother, I’m sorry. I know it’s useless to say this, but you should sign it first.”
Lu Yongfei looked at Jiang Yi with red eyes and said earnestly: “I will be responsible for the follow-up. The child can’t wait and must have the operation soon.”
The rain continued to fall until midnight, and there was no tendency to stop.
The operation took several hours.
Doctors saved Jiang Haoyue’s life but had to amputate his left leg in a high position, and everything under his thigh was gone.
Once the child is out of the operating room, he is sent to the intensive care unit and has not woken up yet.
Lu Yongfei left once during the operation, bringing Jiang Yi a boxed lunch when he returned.
Hospitals were not allowed to smoke, so Jiang Yi took a cigarette and rubbed it back and forth with his fingers. He is a heavy smoker.
“Brother, come out and go smoke. I will be here to watch him. I bought food for dinner so you could eat it later.”
Lu Yongfei knew that talking to Jiang Yi was tantamount to scolding, but he also had to say something.
After this incident, he owed the Jiang family all his life.
“Eating? Am I in a f*ck*ng mood? Are you in the mood to eat ”
Jiang Yi raised his hand and waved away the plastic bag Lu Yongfei had previously given him.
He sat here for a few hours and was still unwilling to believe that the accident had happened to his son.
“Jiang Haoyue, he’s only nine years old and just in third grade this year.” Jiang Yi gritted his teeth tightly. Every word was heavy as if he was clenching his teeth: “He has become…”
Even Jiang Yi, who liked to swear, couldn’t say it – how could that word be used on Jiang Haoyue?
That word is terrible.
“I can understand.” Lu Yongfei lowered his head and sighed for a long time. “I have a daughter named Lu Miao. She is eight years old, so I understand what it’s like to be a father. If something happens to my child, it hurts thousands of times more than if something happens to myself.”
“What’s the use of understanding?”
Jiang Yi sneered, not accepting his feelings: “You have to be responsible. You have to be f*ck*ng responsible. Otherwise, I will kill you and your whole family.”
“I know.”
Lu Yongfei raised his three fingers and swore to heaven: “I, Lu Yongfei, will have a son from now on.”
…
