A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 138.2
The old man grabbed the old woman’s arm and pulled her along. The old woman repeated the same words as if she was mumbling, and the old man stopped her.
Normally, Litty would have interpreted this as a husband taking care of his demented old wife, but for some reason, she felt uncomfortable.
“Bishop, I will bring her home immediately…” (Guest 1)
“I’m sorry for your loss. Let me walk you out.” (Bishop)
“I apologize for the trouble I’m causing you, it seems like she has completely lost her mind.” (Guest 1)
“Grandma, are you okay? Are you alright?” (Litty)
Litty held the old woman’s hand. The old woman looked at Litty clearly.
“My daughter is in the back here…. Please, let me see her, even if it’s only for a moment…” (Guest 2)
“Over there?” (Litty)
“Oh, yes… That’s…” (Guest 2)
“It’s time to turn off the lights.” (Bishop)
The bishop’s voice changed. He forcefully led the old couple out of the Great Temple.
As he did so, he also said a curt goodbye to Litty. The bishop’s sudden change in behavior caused Litty to have more doubts about the situation.
Furthermore, a temple knight came and escorted the elderly couple home. To Litty, it felt more like surveillance.

Oswen the Wise sat down unreservedly on a chair in the room. Propping his cane against the wall, he exhaled heavily and began to relax.
“This country is in terrible shape, isn’t it? It’s insane to worship Clarine, an escaped convict.” (Oswen)
“What do you mean…” (Kuufa)
“Kuufa-chan…. The people here turned away from their true nature, and devoted themselves to ridiculous ideals… Isn’t that idiotic?” (Oswen)
“Are you talking about reaching the truth of magic, Oswen, as you call it?” (Kuufa)
“A clever child! You are! Indeed, these people have lost their minds!” (Oswen)
Kuufa was disgusted by Oswen’s excessive overreacting. Everything was so over the top.
Like an adult praising a young child, Oswen’s words did not really connect well with her.
Kuufa was not the same as when the devil had played her for a fool.
She knew that she could only trust people like Litty and the others who treated her as an equal.
“I don’t think magic is superior. I also don’t agree that someone should be treated differently just because they possess magic. I’m against the exclusion of anyone but magicians.” (Kuufa)
“So that’s what the snot-nosed bastard Boryusho insinuated… No, that is not exactly my goal. My goal is simply the supreme dominance of magicians. You have seen a sample of supreme dominance because of magic in our society, right, Kuufa-Chan?” (Oswen)
“Are you talking about the Magic Empire? It was destroyed, wasn’t it?” (Kuufa)
“That’s because fools became kings, and relied on summoning techniques, for example. I’ve told you before, summoning is not the way to go. If, for example, the water spirit there throws a tantrum, this country will easily end.” (Oswen)
“Oh my, I am not asking for your praise Grandpa!” (Aquaria)
Aquaria reacted strangely, and Oswen spat and laughed. Kuufa was disgusted again when they seemed to be on the same wavelength.
“I don’t care about Aquaria. I don’t care about magicians or domination…” (Kuufa)
“If technology through magic is raised, we won’t have to be foolish with silly dreams or ideals anymore. If we raise our knowledge and ideals, we will no longer need to be dreamers. Therefore, I could only say that ignorance is a sin. Especially trying to be ignorant of such a fantastic development.” (Oswen)
“Says a man who killed his own disciple…” (Kuufa)
“Oh, he was just a monkey with magic powers.” (Oswen)
