A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 138.3
Oswen seemed to be taunting his disciple about everything, but Kuufa was strangely free of anger.
His gestures, the content of his conversations, were disgusting to Kuufa, but they did not boil over.
“What do you want, Oswen-san?” (Kuufa)
“Hmm?” (Oswen)
“I don’t want to drag this further.” (Kuufa)
“I guess I have overstayed my welcome. I would have liked to talk longer, but I think I’ll leave it at that for today. So I’ll get to the point.” (Oswen)
Even the way Oswen stood up, relying on his cane, looked ridiculous to Kuufa. It looked deliberate.
How could someone with the power to make the bishop and his men disappear be unable to walk without a cane? It wasn’t as if he had stumbled upon them by chance. It was assumed by Kuufa that he might have appeared before her to find and convince her of something.
“By the way, Kuufa-chan, do you know who that girl is that you’re carrying around with you?” (Oswen)
“No…” (Kuufa)
“If the truth were to come out, are you still willing to go along with it to the end?” (Oswen)
“Yes.” (Kuufa)
“No matter what the consequences?” (Oswen)
“Yes.” (Kuufa)
Most of what came out of Oswen’s mouth seemed deceitful, so Kuufa listened to him half-heartedly.
As for Mirai, Kuufa was prepared to accept her for whoever she really was.
What started out as a simple act of compassion led her to challenge Cobanza, a member of grand shark, and eventually to name the girl Mirai.
“I see, I see, that is good, Kuufa-chan. I was meant to tell you something about that girl, but never mind. Then, until next time…” (Oswen)
She stared at Oswen as he slowly disappeared while trying to derive a magic formula to use for the worst case scenario, but she couldn’t come up with any counter that would work against him. Kuufa gave up once she realized that she was just still far from reaching a magician on the level of Oswen.
“Kuufa Onee-san…” (Mirai)
“Mirai will always be with me…” (Kuufa)
Mirai, who had started calling her Onee-san, leaned in close to Kuufa. Her exchange with Oswen revealed Mirai’s connection to this country, and that connection was not so light.
Kuufa gripped her hand into a fist to show that she would take care of Mirai no matter what.

“Damn it! Why can’t we get to them!” (Roman)
Bishop Roman and the two priests, who had visited Kuufa, were once again on their way to the inn.
The map of the Holy City was in their heads, and there was no way they could get lost –
“This main street again…!” (Roman)
“Bishop Roman, is this really the work of that Oswen after all?” (Priest 1)
“If so, what is the purpose? Does that girl have the Sage on her side?” (Roman)
“It’s not easy to mess with someone who has the Sage on her side, sir…” (Priest 2)
After being teleported by Oswen, they found themselves not far from the inn. They quickly grasped the situation and headed for the inn, but it had been more than an hour since they were forcibly sent out by Oswen.
The journey should have been short. But no matter how much they tried, they always ended up arriving at the same spot.
Knowing that this was most likely done by magic of the Sage, they should have given up already.
“O wise man. If you are watching, give me a break. I will not mess with that girl.” (Roman)
“What! You’ve given up already!” (Oswen)
“Wha!!” (Roman)
Oswen appeared in front of him, surprising him. All of a sudden, they were now outside the Holy City.
Roman and his men were so exhausted that they could not react to the sudden change of scene.
“Well, well, I was just teasing you a little. After all, I hate you guys.” (Oswen)
“That’s unfortunate. We do not wish to antagonize you…” (Roman)
“What is the Mathias religion in the first place? What benefits does it give by living with nature? You’ve also been doing such tomfoolery in the depths of that Great Temple.” (Oswen)
At that, the expressions of the bishops, who had been showing fear, tightened.
“…Sage. I don’t know by what method you got that information, but it is not good to know too much.” (Roman)
“Hyahahaha! And what are you going to do exactly, to me, the Sage who knows too much?” (Oswen)
Shortly after, Bishop Roman and two priests challenged the wise man to a fight. There was no way they could win. However, Oswen’s statement seemed to have affected them so much that they ended doing this impossible challenge of trying to fight Sage.
