A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 139.3
“Where is he now?” (Litty)
“I don’t know, he was a priest of the Mathias Faith, but he disappeared. I wish I could find him…” (Grandma)
With their daughter’s fiancées’s whereabouts unknown, it was impossible for them not to wonder.
This made Litty and Roma suspicious of the Great Holy Mother’s illness. They were convinced that there was something else going on.
“My daughter is trapped in that Great Temple…. If she’s sick, heal her… But at least let me see her…” (Grandma)
The old couple began to weep, as if their pent-up emotions were overflowing.
No one was taking their side. In this country, controlled by the Mathias Faith, the Pope was everything.
His decisions were God’s trust and guidance. This was the absolute answer, and few doubted it.
“You two want to see Aishia-san… No, you want Aishia-san to be happy, right?” (Litty)
“Yes, no matter what anyone says, no matter what the Mathias Faith says… We love our daughter more than anyone else…. We left our village to follow her… And we even moved to the Holy City. But nothing has changed here…” (Grandma)
“Nothing has changed?” (Litty)
“No one would believe that we are the parents of the Great Holy Mother.” (Grandma)
“I understand. I’m glad I came here.” (Litty)
Litty understood the Mathias Faith through the bishop’s teachings. She also knew that Mathias Faith was deeply rooted in this country.
So much so, she thought, that people would put it above all else. In reality, however, there were those, like the elderly couple, who were troubled to the point of tears.
“Lord Mathias will guide you both. I am sure of it.” (Litty)
“Oh, no, I am not convinced that will happen…” (Grandpa)
“I’m sure there will be guidance. If the Pope took Aishia-san with him, then it is also through Mathias-sama’s guidance that Aishia-san will be led back to the two of you.” (Litty)
“I don’t know if Mathias-sama would allow such a thing…” (Grandpa)
“You are people who believe in him. Even God would want his believers to be happy.” (Litty)
Though it sounded pretty suspicious, Litty did not outright dismiss Mathias’s teachings and used it to calm the hearts of the elderly couple like priests did.
Even if the god Mathias was real and Litty’s adventures were not within the scope of his will, she would not stop her adventure.
She would not be swayed by a plot, even if it had a predetermined ending.
“I think I will enjoy the adventures that God has prepared for me.” (Litty)
“We will investigate this matter thoroughly.” (Roma)
“Roma-san…” (Litty)
“We are adventurers who do what we are asked to do. I finally understand what we came here for.” (Roma)
Roma shook off her hesitation. Even if the church was doing the right thing from the eyes of the people, there were people here who ended up in misfortune.
But now, it didn’t matter to her what was right anymore. Whatever the case was, she decided to feed on the experience as another piece of growth. ‘That’s what Ex-Piece was all about’, Roma then mused as she thought about her decision.
“Litty, I’m going to investigate the Holy Capital, one more time. I think I can still find something.” (Roma)
“Yes, I’ll join up with Ennely-san.” (Litty)
“Speaking of which, why is Myan on loan to Ennely?” (Roma)
“I don’t know. All she said was that there might be a time when she would need her help anyway.” (Litty)
“I hope she’s not spoiling her and giving her food…” (Roma)
Roma has recovered enough presence of mind to worry about Myan. A course of action was then decided upon.
Because she also visited several churches, Roma too, felt the strangeness of the situation. Similarly when she was interacting with bishops, something felt off…
Although Roma was not as accurate as Myan regarding such matters, she still felt that underlying darkness.

“Myan-chan, this vegetable soup is good!” (Ennely)
“Myan, Myan!”
Ennely was thinking about what to do next while drinking her soup.
She had finally found a way of entering the Great Temple. But not only would it not be easy, but she would be in danger if she did not do it right. That was why Myan was with her.
“Myan-chan, if anything happens to me, you have to run away immediately, okay? Promise?” (Ennely)
“Myan…”
“Litty-chan and the others will be sure to help me soon. Don’t worry about it.” (Ennely)
“Myaan…!”
Myan, with soup around her mouth, squealed cheerfully this time.
