A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 140.2
Roma gulped at the fact that it only happened recently. The Great Sage’s illness and Johan’s disappearance seemed like more than mere coincidences to her.
Seeing Annel’s mild expression, Roma suppressed her palpitations. Although she thought that asking too many questions might arouse suspicion, she still went one step further.
“The Archbishop Ryouhou was close to the Pope, was he? He seemed very young, but was already an archbishop. What kind of work did he usually do?” (Roma)
“Ryouhou was a member of the Pope’s entourage. He may look young, but he was already an archbishop when I was still a young teenage girl.” (Annel)
“What…?” (Roma)
“I remember when that man approached me when I was appointed bishop.” (Annel)
According to Roma’s assessment, Annel should be around over 50 years old. Although his face was hidden by his robe and could not be clearly seen, compared to him, Ryouhou had the face of a young man.
Even if he had taken the archbishop’s seat at a young age, Ryouhou did not look the same age as Annel. Why didn’t it arouse anyone’s suspicions?
Annel who was embarrassed as he spoke about Ryouhou put his hand on her cheek, his actions did not strike Roma as an act.
Just a little more, just a little more, Roma thought.
“But he still looks quite youthful, right? Do people not feel jealous of him?”
“Jealousy… as someone who is known to unite the priests. I have never felt any such antagonistic thoughts… I find it even deplorable to have such thoughts.”
With this statement by Annel, Roma’s next course of action was set. If there were those who supported the pope, there were also those against him.
Roma didn’t voice his objection to Annel.

With only three days to go before the inauguration of the High Priestess, Roma continued to dance in the plaza. The crowd was growing, and there would be more people she could contact.
She even felt some sense of immorality when dancing with such an evil motive. However, she had to do what needed to be done.
Litty, Ennely, and Roma all agreed on a course of action, and Roma needed to move quickly.
“Ah, those people are known supporters of the pope. They’re the only ones who are allowed to enter the sanctuary.” (Bishop)
The bishop, who finally made contact with her, was supposedly a member of the anti-pope faction. He had a grim look on his face, in contrast to Annel.
To Roma, it looked like he was more angry towards the pope than the group itself.
“Living with nature…. That is certainly the philosophy of the Mathias religion. But those people want to take everything away from our lives.” (Bishop)
“Everything?” (Roma)
“Houses, clothes, magic tools…. They want us to get rid of everything that human civilization has created and return to nature. That may be true as a principle. But! If we do that, no one will be able to live!” (Bishop)
“Ah, yes. It is as you say.” (Roma)
“… And when I gave my opinion to Ryouhou-sama, he made me work for a backwater church. Working in the Great Temple was my dream… guhhh!” (Bishop)
“Oh, please calm down.” (Roma)
While placating the bloodthirsty bishop, Roma made her next move.
“I sympathize with you very much.” (Roma)
“Is that so! Oh, and you are such a wonderful dancer!” (Bishop)
“I would like to talk to people outside the so-called [Pope Faction] to better understand them.” (Roma)
“Fine! I’d be happy to introduce you to an enthusiastic young man like myself!” (Bishop)
