A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 142.2
An elderly man, emaciated like a skeleton, raised his glasses with a finger. Ennely could guess who this person was.
“The summoner of those eyes…!” (Ennely)
“I would ask you to refrain from such slang. This is the eye angel Wortiel.” (???)
“So you’ve been letting me move until now!” (Ennely)
“It would have been a close call if I hadn’t happened to come to the sanctuary. But at the same time, intruders like you are unlucky to encounter me.” (???)
Ennely had heard from Litty. People believed that angels were part of Mathias’s household.
However, Ennely did not expect that someone would even be able to summon them. It was a blunder because she had only put religious principles in a corner of her mind.
“Well, of course, I won’t let you through from here.” (???)
“Ulner, I saw it. A strange creature ran away. A long one. It must be her pet.” (Eyes)
“A long one? You are accompanied by such a creature? Well, that’s okay. It won’t get out of this sanctuary anyway.” (Ulner)
It was fortunate for Ennely that they had no idea what Myan was.
Few people knew about the nature of Myan who was a phantom beast and was not as popular as other summoned beasts. And moreover, she was dealing with people who were devoted to a particular ideology.
Ennely chose her words and actions carefully.
“Bishop Ulner. Do you know what this thing is?” (Ennely)
“I am an Archbishop.” (Ulner)
“Excuse me for that, Archbishop Ulner.” (Ennely)
“What… Oh!” (Eyes)
This time what Ennely took out was a flash bang. The strong light it generated made both the eye angel Wortiel and Ulner close their eyes, blocking their vision.
Ennely was not wasting time talking to Ulner. She was trying to regain some strength.
After drinking a recovery potion while she had the chance, she took Aisha’s hand again and ran.
“You’re a clever little thief! Wait!” (Ulner)
“Oh! My eyes!” (Eyes)
Ennely ran with Aisha in her arms again, and quickly increased the distance between her and Ulner.
The surface of the Great Temple loomed closer, and Ennely had no intention of letting up. But then she was suddenly grabbed by the neck.
“Ugh?!”
Aisha was then found in someone else’s hands.
“Oh… Ryou, Ryouhou…” (Ennely)
“Are you safe? I am responsible for allowing the bandits to enter.” (Ryouhou)
“Listen to me…” (Ennely)
Ennely, who was choking on her own gibberish, frantically analyzed the situation.
There was no sign of how everything happened. Moreover, there was still some distance between them but Ryouhou somehow managed to secure Aisha.
Ennely could only conclude that Ryouhou used something similar to teleportation. As for how he managed to grab her neck without any physical movement, it may be because of magic.
“Surprised, aren’t you? Our martial art, which we used to call Tenryu-ken in the past, has now been elevated to Shinryu-ken. Becoming one with nature and making it our own…. It is not the first time I have met a person like you, but rather I was prepared for it.” (Ryouhou)
“Martial arts…. If you call that martial arts, you will be scolded by many people…” (Ennely)
“Well, I call it the [other ability]. It is a power that every human originally possessed…. But now it has been lost.” (Ryouhou)
“So you’ve regained it.” (Ennely)
