A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 147.1
Litty and Roma Fight at the Deepest Part of the Sanctuary
Litty charged at Ulner without hesitation.
Whether it was magic or summoning, if you didn’t let your enemy do anything, you would win.
In fact, Ulner couldn’t react to Litty’s speed and didn’t even show any signs of moving his wand.
But the mysterious creature was there to respond.
“Ugoaaaah!”
“Hmph!” (Litty)
That particularly large mysterious creature received Litty’s charge head-on.
Its body had gray skin and seemed to be made up of multiple layers of muscles. Its eyes were all red.
Though it was humanoid, it was fair to call it a monster in appearance and physique.
“Spiral!” (Litty)
Litty’s spinning toyed with the monster.
At the same time, Roma’s Confuse Waltz joined in, not neglecting to take measures against the Eye Angel also known as Watcher.
The Watcher’s eyes followed Roma, and so did the monster.
Litty didn’t miss the opportunity when the monster’s movements became erratic.
However, before she could launch an attack, Ulner and Watcher took action.
“Wah…!” (Litty)
“High-Rank Binding Magic Stone Bind” (Ulner)
“Hot Gaze” (Watcher)
Litty’s body was captured by countless long, thin rocks.
In addition to the additional tightening, the Watcher, whose eyes were agitated, all sent glances at Litty.
Next, Litty’s body was instantly engulfed in flames.
“Li, Litty!” (Roma)
“Do you have the time to worry about others? Stone Bind!”
The rocks also tightened around Roma.
Thinking that next would be the flame attack from the Watchers’ gaze, Roma braced herself.
But nothing happened.
“No way?!” (Roma)
It was the monster that was heading towards Roma.
For some reason, the expected flame attack didn’t come. Instead, it was the monster targeting her.
Either way, Roma was in despair. Even though there were only two opponents, they easily overpowered Litty and Roma.
“Ma-Mathias Religion forbids killing!” (Ulner)
“It’s me who does it.” (Watcher)
That’s what the Watcher was for. They summoned angels to carry out the execution without getting their hands dirty.
However, only a small part of the Mathias Religion was allowed to do this.
“I have nothing to regret. I have rejected all sin and lived honestly until this day.” (Ulner)
From an early age, Archbishop Ulner’s parents drilled a thorough education into him in everything.
Not only academics, but also tactical theory, which was considered unnecessary in the Mathias Religion as it forbade magic and killing.
He was forced to learn all kinds of knowledge.
His perfectionist parents didn’t even let their son Ulner play as he should. He resisted many times, but he was finally confined to his home.
For many years, Ulner’s father, who was a bishop at the time, led his subordinates in daily sermons.
At some point, the young Ulner abandoned his own way of thinking. He was imprinted even from a young age with the idea that it would be easier to do as he was told.
“They’re stupid children. Nothing happier than obeying.” (Ulner)
He looked down on people like Litty and Roma as uneducated children.
It was all because he never met friends in the Mathias Religion, and all he could refer to was the knowledge that his parents had given him.
Ulner, who became Archbishop, felt happy by looking down on others.
That’s why he didn’t like Ryouhou, who later took the position of Archbishop.
“It’s not as bad as Ryouhou feared. It’ll be over soon.” (Ulner)
“Yaaaaaah!” (Litty)
“Wh, what!” (Ulner)
