A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 49.3
There was a huge number of summoned beasts of all races, both famous and obscure, listed in the books that served as reference material. There are so many that it would take time just to keep track of them all.
Therefore, Catalana decided to first examine their magical tendencies and characteristics.
“It looks like we can do it in the laboratory, so let’s go.”
Just when they were about to stand up and go out…
*Knock *Knock.
After knocking on the door, one of the instructors entered the room.
“Sorry for the interruption. I came to inform you that the laboratory is not available today.”
“What? Are you trying to harass me now?” (Catalana)
“We will be using it with trainees from external organizations. Please understand.”
“Yes, yes. This is simply harassment, plain and simple.” (Catalana)
The instructor left without responding to Catalana’s provocation. Exhaling a deep sigh, Catalana threw the book against the door.
Litty couldn’t help but think that they were being too forcibly, but didn’t mention it.
“Oh man. They really want me to do this, huh? For now, let’s go.” (Catalana)
“Eh?”
“This will be an HQ investigation.” (Catalana)

The instructors and the apprentices turned around as Catalana opened the laboratory’s door to perform an inspection. Undeterred, Catalana moved to the table where translucent balls were placed.
Beckoning reserved Litty and Kuufa, who were proceeding apologetically.
“Lady Catalana, this place is from today…”
“We will be quick, or are you telling me that the trainees have already arrived? This one will be over soon anyway, so don’t make me report this harassment.”
“I’m afraid I’m going to be scolded by the branch manager…”
“Don’t worry. If we win, he’ll lose his job.”
The instructor was absolutely mortified, but Catalana started to explain to Litty and Kuufa about the translucent balls. It was a ball that, when touched and charged with magic power, produced a colored light as a reaction.
Litty and Kuufa each touched a translucent ball.
“Litty-chan… your magic is weak.”
“Weak?”
“The color is very pale. But you don’t have to worry about it unless you want to be a magician. And the color is red…orange?”
Hearing this, Litty was a little disheartened, but this was no time to be discouraged.
According to Catalana, the closer the color was to red, the more likely one was good at flame magic. And from the repeated flickering, the appropriate summon was found out to be a phantom beast.
“Magic power represents a person’s nature, so it has a lot to do with the success rate of a contract with the summoned beast. Of course, it’s not absolute.”
“So I just have to summon the right one?”
“Yes. Let’s delve into what kind of phantom beast you’d like from there later. Next up is Kuufa.”
Kuufa touched the translucent ball and it turned all blue. It shook violently, and the instructor, who was watching, was so surprised that he cried out loud.
“This, I have never seen such a reaction! This girl might be capable of becoming a water attribute magician as well!”
“…Why did you only know of this now? Seriously, how stupid are the people managing this place?”
“Sorry, I’m sorry. The branch manager instructed me to ignore it… saying, ‘It’s not every day that we summon a demon tribe! I don’t need it to be inspected!'”
“He’s seriously going to be fired.”
Kuufa’s compatible summon was a spirit. However, the spirit race had a variety of personalities, and their tendencies were difficult to grasp.
From the gentle to the violent, some of the invoked spirits could even cause disasters. However, Catalana dared to be silent about this fact, as there was no merit in scaring Kuufa.
Incidentally, the demon race was dark, black. Some instructors even made people give up the road to Summoner as soon as this was revealed.
