Hi, we are planning to drop AGTM from next month, so please don't join Patreon membership.

“Some people might hate me.” (Litty)

“Yes. Are you ready to bear that?” (King)

“I don’t know and I also don’t care.” (Litty)

“Oh…?” (King)

While everyone around her was worried, Litty had a certain sparkle in her eyes. It was the look she showed during her adventures, which Roma knew all too well.

For Litty, the conversation with the King was just one of the unknown experiences she wanted to encounter.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future. If I have wronged someone… I will try to make up for it by helping them… Maybe I will also feel down…” (Litty)

The King waited for Litty’s words; Redner’s mouth twisted into an expression that showed his true feelings.

“However, I consider that an adventure, as well. I can’t give you an answer right now as to what to do about the unknown, because I am still inexperienced. So…I cannot be sure.” (Litty)

“That could be interpreted as not being prepared.” (King)

“It doesn’t matter… I simply don’t want to be hindered.” (Litty)

“What do you mean by that?” (King)

Now it was Litty’s turn to freeze the place. Even the King was so stiffened that he could not speak immediately as he felt the atmosphere around Litty when she answered that.

It was a foolish question from the start. King simply wanted to know how this adventurer, who was so well known, acted.

“I don’t want to be hindered in my adventures, that’s all.”

The King swallowed with bated breath. And thought about it. What would happen if they stood in her way?

What would have happened to Yggdrasia if things went on and that hindered Litty’s adventure? To be fair, the cause of their end, albeit indirectly, was still certainly this girl.

Despite Litty not moving to contact those who appeared for her, they made their move because of her. No, that’s not it, it simply happened as if she was the one who did it.

Litty was unaware of it, but she did possess a power, a tremendous invisible power that Yggdrasia had neglected and did not want to recognize.

The King, who noticed this, gave up further questioning her. Rather, he also acknowledged her hidden potential.

“…I see. It seems that the courage you showed in the courtroom was not fraudulent. I apologize.” (King)

“Oh, no need to apologize! I was a little arrogant as well!” (Litty)

An ordinary mind would not have been able to maintain their composure in that situation. Dande, for example, who had been judged, could not do anything but accept the situation as the case went on.

But Litty, even after being hit by Aldis’ fist, still had the strength to stand up. It was because of this sight that the King gave up on Yggdrasia.

“Um, if everyone has a grudge against me…I’ll try to do better. I will go to the unexplored areas above and below the bottom of the world and be of service to everyone. I think that’s what I aim to do.” (Litty)

“You mean to make a name for yourself as a legend even more than Yggdrasia?” (King)

“Myan!” (Myan)

“Now now, stay!” (Litty)

Litty scolded Myan for interrupting without permission. The King however was satisfied with the conversation.

He was grateful to find one good adventurer, even more so because of her good qualities.

“I don’t know if I can be a hero…. I want to be a great adventurer so that I can be the main character of a story.” (Litty)

“Hmph… main character of a story. That’s easier said than done, though. I see. That’s good enough, Redner, let’s go.” (King)

“Muh? Your Majesty?” (Redner)

“What you were expecting is not going to happen with this girl.” (King)

Redner, who had been seen through, showed a sour expression on his face. He, who had decided to be a spectator, was expecting the adventurer herself to fall with the Heroes.

But in the end, Litty remained in the picture. Stroking his chin, because things didn’t go as he expected, he gave up and feigned ignorance when he responded to the King.

“…I don’t know what you mean.”

Despite this deception, Litty’s presence grew in his mind. It occurred to him that she could become the symbol of adventurers, like Yggdrasia.

Aware of her qualities, he would like to cut her path out while he still could – or rather, he felt that he needed to do so.

“Well, Litty and everyone else. Sorry for the intrusion.”

Beside the King’s exit, Redner remained deep in thought.
