Hi, we are planning to drop AGTM from next month, so please don't join Patreon membership.

With his ability, he could shake off Kuufa’s attacks. However, even though she was a lower rank, Kobanza could not overlook the fact that his escape route was discovered. Another miscalculation was that she was more persistent than he had expected.

The bombing started again, landing on Kuufa’s water armor. The sound of water evaporating was vivid. Kobanza believed that no matter how high ranked that water spirit was, it would wear out.

“It’s about time…!” (Kuufa)

“…what?” (Kobanza)

Kuufa’s voice was not within earshot; Kobanza had no way of knowing the girl’s emotions.

“Why did you… have to do that… to that girl…?” (Kuufa)

“Damn! You’re stubborn…” (Kobanza)

No matter how low-cost Low Rank Flame Magic Prozum was, there was no way he could keep shooting forever.

Kobanza’s magic power was not that high to begin with, so it could not break through Kuufa’s magic.

It simply showed the standing of Aquaria, a high ranking water spirit. To sum it up, if it could be defeated by attacks of this level, it would not be called a high rank.

“Why are you people doing this!!!!!”

A huge pool formed around Kuufa and water burst straight from the pool towards Kobanza. But unlike Kuufa’s previous attacks that were easily avoided, Kobanza was hit, smashing him to the ground by the force of the impact.

Then, following the attack, Kobanza and Sharknado were helplessly plunged into the massive amount of water and almost fainted, an amount of water that could have crushed and killed them instantly had he not been a Rank 2 adventurer.

Vomiting blood and with his internal organs damaged, Kobanza had lost most of his fighting ability by this point; Sharknado started to swim, but he was not able to free himself.

“Gabobo! Gobo gabobo!”

What was created from the mass of water was not a giant swimming pool, but a giant washing machine. The water was being rocked so violently from side to side, up and down, that even Sharknado had no choice but to give up.

Just as its master’s consciousness was cut off, Sharknado disappeared as if to escape back home.

If the link had been intact, this would not have happened. Nevertheless, the fact that he abandoned his master was, in part, due to the difference in rank between him and Aquaria.

“Why! What did you do to scare that girl? She was so frightened even at the mention of your names! She will never be happy because of you people!”

The match had already reached its conclusion. However, Kuufa, driven by rage, had greatly drawn out Aquaria’s power and let it run amok. If the torrent of power continued, Kuufa would also suffer backlash.

At this point, Aquaria was unsure. It would be easy for her to stop Kuufa from her berserk state, but interfering now would prevent Kuufa’s personal growth.

“…Sigh, looks like I will have to take care of it.”

Under Aquaria’s control, the giant pool of water dispersed little by little, and the rampage calmed down. After the enormous volume of water finally vanished and disappeared, Kuufa slumped over.

Aquaria glanced at Kobanza amid the deluge.

“Is that guy alive? Oh, he’s still alive!”

“Gah, gaha…!”

“But he might be in danger. Hey, Kuufa? What are you going to do?”

“Ah…”

Kuufa, who was unable to move even the tips of her fingers, had no way to answer. All she could do was lie on her stomach and wait for her consciousness to fade away.

Aquaria picked Kuufa up.

“I’m going to take that shark guy with us, okay? He’s going to die at this point if we leave him be.”

If the deactivation had been a little later, Kobanza would have died. Aquaria managed to save Kuufa from killing someone through her rage, even though he would end up a dead man anyway.
