Litty Fights Jozu
While the knights worked to evacuate the residents, Litty stared at the man riding atop the shark.
Winged Shoes could only stay in the air for a short time, and it would be difficult to strike a blow when she was close enough.
Nor could she hope to hit him with an arrow, because even with Litty’s skill, it would be difficult to hit him.
“Hyahahaha! Apache lance!”
As his shark dived to get closer to Litty, Jozu thrust his spear which released a number of piercing projectiles.
Litty avoided the attack, which was strong enough to easily penetrate the roof of the building she was standing on, opening multiple holes. It turned a small area of the roof into a beehive.
Jozu also retreated back into the sky before Litty could counterattack.
“Hey, hey, hey! No time to rest! Apache laaaaansssss!”
Using a hit-and-run approach, Jozu incessantly assaulted Litty, who used various defensive skills, such as Parrying Cleave, to defend herself from the attacks.
Jozu’s skill set was well refined, and it was not just his skill set that was a threat.
“Bite off!”
The attacks by the Shaknado could also not be ignored as its teeth could even chew through metal. Litty had no choice but to evade them.
As their battle continued, Jozu could finally realize Litty’s strength. He did have a hint during their first clash after Litty blocked his attack, and normally for Jozu, attacking in a hit-and-run manner usually settled the match, but not with Litty.
“You have a bow and arrow, don’t you? Go ahead, shoot!”
Litty did not care about Jozu’s provocation. After several attempts to get close, Litty saw an opportunity to counterattack.
Just before Jozu released his spear, Litty half leaned forward, an opening that only Litty’s dynamic vision and talent could have detected.
With her small sword, she slashed at Jozu, but soon realized it was a bad move.
Jozu’s shark flipped sideways, escaping Litty’s sword, and using that momentum, Jozu thrust with his left-hand spear.
“Tsk…!”
Litty’s right arm was injured. She hurriedly tried to keep her distance to dodge the follow-up Apache Lance.
After a midair spin, Jozu unleashed his spear skill.
“Ora ora ora ora ora ora!”
Litty’s entire body was struck by an array of attacks, causing blood to spill. Following her right arm, her entire body was damaged.
With no prospect for a counterattack, Litty was in a tight spot. She was on the verge of falling, as Jozu watched her, when she suddenly…
“You idio… what????”
Jozu couldn’t believe his eyes. Litty, who was in front of him, suddenly vanished. It was then followed by a strong impact from below, pushing Sharknado up.
Litty, who used her fall momentary float using her shoes underneath Sharknado, and attacked with an Explosion Slash. The damage was strong enough to sever one of its fins.
“Huh?!”
Just before she fell, Litty had strained her legs to kick midair, sending her below the shark, a result of Jozu’s momentary carelessness.
Litty was certainly inferior to Jozu, but she was not one to let her guard down, even for a moment, as Jozu was determined to kill her.
“Sha, shaknado! Get away from her!”
“Yaaaaa!”
“Kuuu! You, you!”
Jozu fought off Litty’s furious counterattacks. He didn’t think he would lose even if they exchanged blows.
In fact, Litty, too, was unable to move as expected due to the damage she accumulated, and was not able to attack as hard as she would have liked.
However, the loss of one of Sharknado’s fins and the reduction in speed had led to an almost even fight between the two.
“Stupid, this me would…”
