Don’t worry about the date! We’ll wait forever!
See you later! Romance up!
From Special Class Adventurer Athlete Power Robin]
“Yes, that’s him.”
“What’s with this guy?”
“He’s an Adventurer of Honorary Rank. Don’t worry about him.”
“By this standard, Yggdrasia would be considered decent!”
A scene unfolded in which Litty calmed the agitated Roma, who was unable to trust any of the top ranking adventurers, starting with Catalana, who was right in front of her.
She had already been subjected once to a potentially traumatic promotion test. The moniker of the examiner being “Perverted Pants” also increased her vigilance, so it could not be helped that she would be upset.
“Roma-san, it’s okay. We have been trained by Catalana-san.”
“That doesn’t sound good at all…”
“Litty-chan, you’ve become quite good at praising people, haven’t you?”
Catalana hugged Litty and patted her head, while Roma pulled Litty back at high speed and looked at the announcement again.
“Taharajal, the land of hot sand…that’s pretty far away.” (Roma)
“We’ll have to cross the sea.” (Litty)
“Why do we have to go there?” (Roma)
“Because there’s that thing over there.” (Catalana)
“What thing?” (Roma)
“You’ll see it when you get there! You’d better worry about the journey instead!” (Catalana)
Many adventurers end up dead before they reach the place for their promotion exam. In some cases, Guild deliberately chose faraway places, as if the journey itself was part of the test, but there was also the actual test when they arrived at the destination.
In the case of Litty and her friends, they first needed to reach a port city in the southern part of the continent. There were several routes to get there, and depending on the choice, there were varying degrees of difficulty.
A route that took a long way but had several towns, villages, and encampment sites. A route that was closer, but with fewer towns and villages, and more powerful monsters roaming the roads.
There were many others. It could be said that the choice of route was one of the challenges that one had to face.
Even though it may seem like a safe route to take, there could be many bandits that roamed the area. And even if the kingdom’s Knight Corps regularly thinned them out, they would just be replaced by a new group after a while.
“…It’s a faraway and unknown place, isn’t it?”
“Hmm…”
“Litty, are you worried about something?”
“I’m worried about my job title…I want the title of Knight…”
“Indeed, you have the titles of Fighter and Heavy Warrior, right?”
“I would like to be as strong as possible, since I don’t know the place.”
Roma also thought about herself. She knew she was inferior to Litty in physical ability and senses.
Since that was the case, she had been pondering if there was any way to differentiate herself from Litty.
She even thought about contracting a summon like Kuufa.
Roma said with some thought, “I’d like to agree, but we can’t spend too much time on that.”
Seeing their dilemma, Catalana suggested, “Well, should I tell that Pervert Pants that you’re going to be late? With harpy transport.”
“Will it cause any issue?”
“I don’t think so.”
“That will be great. Then can we leave it to you?”
“No problem. By the way, earning the title of Knight may not be that easy… They have a reputation of telling people that having only two titles isn’t enough. After all, some titles are easy to get.”
