A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 98.3
Litty asked with curiosity, “Is it that amazing to earn that title?”
Roma also couldn’t help but comment, “I can’t believe that Ryuto has earned it…”
In addition to Ryuto, whom Roma disliked, Vidal had also acquired that title. Even though they were disappointing in the end, they still did possess it, after all.
Not that Roma was inferior to them in fighting power, but she never considered being a Knight an option for her to take. She could not express it well, but she felt that something would be missing from her if she took that path.
She had accepted that Litty was a genius, and there was no way she could reach the same power level as her.
So, she thought hard about what she could do. Looking at Litty, she wondered if she possessed anything that Litty did not.
“Roma-san?”
“Oh, sorry.”
“Hello everyone!”
Just as Roma wondered how Litty’s small body possessed such great potential, she was surprised by a sudden greeting of a surprise visitor.
Jennifer from Red Flag greeted her without hesitation. She was alone, unaccompanied by any other members of the group.
Many adventurers were cheered up by her unusual job as a singing, dancing, and idol, and she demonstrated her presence as a popular person. A crowd of people surrounded her.
“Jennifer-chan! Are you alone today?”
“It’s my day off. We don’t always have the whole party together.”
“Oh, I see! Okay, I guess…”
“Ah!”
Jennifer noticed Litty and the others. The way she danced her way through the group of adventurers showed her to be a master of her craft.
Despite the fact that determined adventurers’ attempted to ask her to join their party and ended up being rejected, Jennifer did not look like she was bothered by their attempts and still responded to them albeit in rejection.
As soon as she closed in on Litty’s group, it showed that her interest did not seem to be Litty.
“You, what’s your name?”
“What? I’m Roma, and you are…?
“I’m Jennifer from Red Flag! I like you! You have the perfect style and aura!”
“Wha, what are you talking about?”
Jennifer, the idol of the Adventurers’ Guild, was singing the praises to one of the girls. The crowd of people approached Litty and her friends.
Litty and Kuufa as well as the other girl were pushed away. They then surrounded Jennifer and Roma.
Jennifer smiled and said a few words to Roma, ignoring the crowd.
“Why don’t you become a singing and dancing idol?”
“Eh?”
“The moment I saw you, I was so excited! I’ve never seen anything like this! Hey, why don’t you try becoming an Idol?”
“Wait a minute! What’s this all of a sudden?”
“That girl, to be an Idol?”
The surrounding adventurers wondered, and their gazes focused on Roma. Embarrassed beyond belief, Roma turned her head down and tried to make the most out of this puzzling situation.
The adventurers observed Roma with utmost attention.
“I guess it might be possible.”
“She’s a beautiful woman with a nice style.”
“She is indeed beautiful.”
Not ever since the Fighter’s Guild incident had Roma been acknowledged by so many people.
But now the attention was coming from a different direction. There was no way she would feel comfortable with a man recognizing her feminine charms.
“Enough! What do you people think I am!”
“Whoa…. That’s scary…”
Roma may have been described as a beautiful and calm woman by others who didn’t know her, but inside, she was anything but calm. She was like a beautiful rose with thorns, a perfect description of her personality, that if approached carelessly, would injure those who attempted to touch her.
While accompanying Litty and the others, it was hard to tell because of their usual synergy, but this was her true description.
“Please don’t be angry…”
“Jennifer-chan? What are you even suggesting! Me, and Idol? Don’t make fun of me!”
“I’m not making fun of you! I’m sorry if I offended you! But I’m serious, let’s talk about it, okay?”
“I think you should instead approach Litty. She is better than me.”
Jennifer looked at Litty and Kuufa at the same time. She had evaluated Litty before.
She had seriously considered forming a unit with Aida as well, but it was Roma who made her change her mind.
“She’s a nice girl, but she’s nothing compared to you!”
“What?”
“First, her style. She’s very cute, but she looks like a child…. Maybe if she was marketed in that way, she might be successful.”
“I am not childish…” (Litty)
“Myan!”
Myan looked up at Litty with a comforting purr. On the other hand, Kuufa was not even an option for Jennifer.
She was a failure in every way – style, aura, everything – so Jennifer didn’t even comment on her.
“Hey master, she was thinking that you’re not even the least qualified for it…” (Aquaria)
“That, that’s just…”
While Aquaria was spouting off some unnecessary nonsense about Kuufa, Litty was comparing herself to Roma.
Litty was also interested in being an Idol. But that was unexpectedly rejected even before she could try, so there was no way she could agree with the rejection.
“Style… What does that mean? But… I’m not really… childish.”
“Myan.”
Litty couldn’t grasp things like “style”. This was what Roma had that Litty did not. It was something so basic yet unexpected.
