[Vol. 4] Chapter 15: Unperturbed

Amelia’s kiss came suddenly, but it wasn’t fierce.

It was gently tender, like sinking into a soft sponge.

Ifia relaxed completely with Amelia’s lead. In a daze, she only felt a tingling sensation in her heart, a desire to continue sinking and not return to reality.

Until Amelia finished kissing, their lips parted, and Ifia still hadn’t come back to her senses.

“This is encouragement between good friends!”

Amelia said with a light laugh. Ifia’s confused expression made Amelia chuckle, and she pleasantly pinched Ifia’s cheek, finally bringing the girl back to reality.

Preparing for tonight’s flower viewing was specifically to help Ifia relax and release the tension. Everything was centered around soothing. No matter how deep the desires, patience was required.

So, even if Ifia was not satisfied, it couldn’t continue unless…

Ifia stopped being stubborn.

The relationship between the two had a special definition, and when the time came, even if Ifia wanted to stop, she couldn’t. However, based on Amelia’s understanding of Ifia, reaching this stage wouldn’t be easy.

If pushed too hard, Ifia might become angry and things could turn worse. It might be better to maintain the current situation. Amelia also wanted to see who would be the first to break through the final barrier.

Although demons are not known for their patience, Amelia felt that compared to Ifia, who tended to indulge in excessive imagination, she had the upper hand.

She managed to make the demon lord look forward to what would come next!

After enjoying the peculiar flowers on the rooftop terrace, Ifia, excited and exhausted from preparing for Lady Chekov’s tea party, felt the fatigue of the day catching up with her, especially since it was now late in the evening.

With a tired yawn and a hand covering her mouth, Ifia followed Amelia in a daze back to the bedroom.

She practically collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep within a second!

After a very comfortable night’s sleep, Ifia woke up and found herself deep in thought. The reason she agreed to stay overnight was to complete a mission…

However, she had become so engrossed in Amelia’s tenderness that she completely forgot about the mission! Another day of mission failure.

Perhaps due to the numerous previous failures, Ifia had developed a resilient heart. After a brief moment of regret, she quickly regained her vitality and energy, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Failure is a delayed success. One or two failures didn’t mean much!

Well, it seemed like she had failed quite a few times…

Even though she failed many times before, she eventually completed the mission smoothly. So, no need to panic! Even though this mission has a time limit, three months is not a short period. There will be opportunities in the future.

After consoling herself, Ifia reluctantly left the comfortable bed. After getting dressed and freshening up, just as she was about to leave her room, there was a knock on the door from outside, followed by the voice of a maid.

“Miss Ifia, breakfast is ready.”

“Yeah, I got it.”

Days of enjoying life, with clothes at hand and meals served, are truly delightful!

Ifia happily went to the dining room. Amelia, who had already risen early, was seated, holding a cup of black coffee and earnestly reading today’s newspaper.

The sunlight outside danced on her silver hair, as if mischievous little elves were playing around.

Quiet purple eyes, like aged wine settling for a hundred years, exuded a rich and mellow fragrance, giving off a sense of peaceful and leisurely time. Sensing Ifia’s presence, Amelia looked up and smiled at her.

“Good morning, Ifia.”

“Good morning, Amelia!”

Having good friends to exchange morning greetings with was truly a pleasant thing. After Ifia took her seat, Amelia poured her a glass of orange juice and handed it over, eliciting a chuckle from Ifia as she accepted it.

Compared to the previous days of being on high alert, Ifia was much more relaxed today. It was evident that the soothing from the previous night had taken effect.

This also put Amelia at ease.

After breakfast, using the excuse of discussing matters with the school principal at Pulis Academy, Amelia personally escorted Ifia to her classroom.

Even after entering the classroom, Ifia’s smile remained, and she couldn’t help but appreciate Amelia’s gentleness over the past couple of days. Though the assertive and domineering Amelia was also appealing.

“Ifia is here! Did you hear? She stole the show at Lady Chekov’s tea party.”

“I heard, I heard! A complete set of jewelry embedded with Xero Blood Diamonds, and her dress adorned with delicate Xero Blood Diamonds. The noble daughters present were all envious!”

“Indeed, Miss Barlen continues to shower Ifia with favor. It’s truly admirable.”

“Ifia must have saved the country in her past life! That’s why she’s favored by Miss Barlen in this life.”

Ifia didn’t arrive particularly early, most of the students in the classroom were already present. As soon as she stepped into the room, whispers and hushed conversations immediately broke out.

Ifia had anticipated this and didn’t find it strange. After all, she was well aware of the value of Xero Blood Diamonds.

Making such a high-profile appearance at Lady Chekov’s tea party not only spread among her classmates at Pulis Academy but likely echoed within the aristocratic social circles of Dalwa City.

Ifia had become a celebrity!

Having experienced grand events before, Ifia remained calm. However, her excited classmates couldn’t contain their discussions, each one praising her endlessly. Watching this, Irene, who was quietly reading a book nearby, couldn’t help but grip her book tightly.

Since confessing love to Prince Carloy on the ship, Irene knew that her plan had made significant progress. Finally, she could transcend the boundaries of mere friendship!

Prince Carloy, unafraid of exposure, had caused rumors about their relationship to spread like wildfire upon their return to the Sith Empire, much to Irene’s delight.

Even with Amelia Barlen’s outstanding qualities, Prince Carloy, her fiancé, didn’t favor her. Prince Carloy liked Irene!

Filled with longing for a beautiful future, Irene’s responses to inquiries about her relationship with Prince Carloy were deliberately ambiguous, fueling the growing rumors. Yet, no one bothered to clarify.

As a result, the expected hot topic in the aristocratic circles of the Sith Empire should have been her and Prince Carloy. However, unexpectedly, Ifia attended just one tea party and successfully became the top headline.

The lavish set of Xero Blood Diamond jewelry, displayed so boldly, sparked envy and jealousy among numerous noble ladies and debutantes. There was little interest left for discussing Prince Carloy’s romantic rumors.

This made Irene grit her teeth in silent resentment. She thought Ifia’s satisfaction wouldn’t last long. Prince Carloy, as a member of the royal family, would undoubtedly successfully inherit the throne. By then, the Barlen family would be defeated, and Ifia wouldn’t fare well either.

Irene became more convinced that her thoughts were correct. She gradually relaxed her grip, restored her mindset to normal, and then continued to study diligently, preparing to achieve a good result in the exams.

As the rumored romantic interest of Prince Carloy, she needed to become even more outstanding to be worthy of him.

Meanwhile, while Irene focused on her studies, Ifia had just taken her seat when Jessica appeared in a hurry at the classroom door. Once Jessica’s eyes locked onto Ifia, she immediately ran toward her with excitement written all over her face.

Reaching Ifia quickly, Jessica, slightly out of breath but unable to contain her excitement, joyfully exclaimed, “Ifia, the academy celebration of Pulis Academy is coming soon!”
